The skies are such a beautiful blue today. The clouds waft through so peacefully that it makes you just want to lay in the warm, green grass and stare. I go underneath a tree and just sit there under the shade and stare at the clouds.

“Hey!” I turn my head and see Yuko running towards me.

I smile. “Took you long enough.”

“Sorry!” Yuko pants. “But you know dead people can’t keep time.”

“Oh whatever!” I laugh.

Yuko sits next to me and we stare at the clouds together.

“Have you seen him again?” I ask.

“Him?” Yuko asks.

“You know who…”

“You mean the angel?” Yuko starts blushing. “I haven’t. I don’t think I will.”

“You like him?” I turn my head and smile at Yuko.

“What?! No!” Yuko turns her head so that I can’t see her face and I laugh.

“Oh, don’t be in denial! He was pretty hot after all. Just look at his arms! Er…remember his arms.”

Yuko turns her head towards me. “Haha! Yeah. I guess but I doubt that I’ll be able to see another angel.” Yuko’s face turns solemn. “I bet there is some kind of law that forbids angels and ghosts to be together.”

“How is it that you’ve been a ghost this long and don’t know anything about the spirit world? Are you sure you’re supposed to be here right now?”

“I don’t know and no, I’m not sure.” Yuko gets up and puts her hands on her hips. “Maybe that angel will come and arrest me!”

I get up and start laughing. I put my hand on Yuko’s shoulders. “I bet he will.”

Riiiiiing!

I lie in my bed and I’m sad again. It was a dream. Can a ghost be in people’s dreams? Will I ever see Yuko outside of my memories?
