“Park Chanyeol”

That name is mentioned in every nook and cranny of this little town I live in. He’s really popular around here because that giant is every girl’s dream in this town. And that includes me. But it's no biggie for me because it's just a lil crush and nothing more than that.

I wouldn’t even think that our paths would cross if not for my stupid, stupid and stupid yet loving big sister. My sissy thinks what I need is a boyfriend to make sure that I'm not alone. Whenever I say she's a match making witch, she begs a differ and forces me to call her cupid. Oh, stupidity.

She sets me up with random guys who either smell like arm-pits, or just too lousy for my type. And I'm very picky.

So, here’s the thing.

Chanyeol owns a huge debt from my sister and there is no frigging way that he can pay her that large amount of money being the cheap guy that he is. He's desperate to pay her in any way possible without money involved. And my sister, being stupid as usual, gave him a way out of his debt in one condition.

He has to go on a set up date with me.

You would think that it was only a short, arranged meeting. But heck no. "The Cupid" is up for games. And the giant's attitude doesn't make it easier for the both of us. The guy I thought of as a sweet, tall boy was actually an .

But little did I know that he would play a major role in my life.

KIM HAEWON 김 해원

"These set-up dates are killing me"

Simple yet pretty; that's the perfect description for this 16 year old girl. She's not even aware of the fact that she can swoop people with her charm even with her usual oversized tees and casual jeans.

Her humour and down-to-earth personality perfectly matches her cute, baby face. However, there's so much more about her. She seriously does not give a damn about what people thinks of her. She neglects her studies, yet she's as smart as she can be. Her sarcasm level is as high as the Burj Khalifa and her snarky comments does not go unnoticed.

And Haewon, she's a teenager. So of course, she gets affected with those handsome boys around her. She fangirls, but not too much. 

Despite that, she's a kind and caring person. But not to a jerk named Park Chanyeol.

PARK CHANYEOL 박 찬열

"I'm a boy with FREEDOM. You can't take that away from me!"

Looking at Chanyeol, it's not hard to guess that he belongs to the popular crowd. With a tall, slim body, handsome looks, and deep voice, he gains so much attention in school and in the little town he lives in. He's a 10th grader, along with Haewon and Baekhyun and he's the rapper and bassist of the famous band in school called EXO.

And no, he's not the typical popular play-boy.

He's not a girl-hater either. He just hates the girls who throw themselves at him because he finds it really annoying. He's a cheap guy, who likes to go on sales and often bargains with ahjummas. And he's very secretive behind that happy demeanor.

BYUN BAEKHYUN 변 백현

"I have no idea that she's my best friend's girl"

Chanyeol's happy, happy, and happy best friend. He's always smiling and flashing his eye smiles that makes all their fangirls faint. Conceited? Yes. He knows his ability to make girls swoon and sigh very well and he uses it to his advantage. He's the vocalist of EXO-- the popular band in school.

He's a funny guy and he likes to crack jokes with Chanyeol.

That's mainly the reason why the two of them are best friends. Without knowing it, he got entangled up into "The cupid's" match-making game. 

KIM JAEHYUN 김 재현

"And of course, a boyfriend would make you want to get rid of that snarky and sarcastic mouth of yours."

Kim/Lee Jaehyun is Haewon's loving 23 year old sister. She's clever, sophisticated and childish. She's an adult who looks like a 16 years old and yes, she acts like one. Of course, she's married and she has a child. That's why she started setting up Haewon to make sure that someone would take care of her when she's not there. 

She's caring and mother-like, yet there are a few tendencies in which you will view her like a spoiled teenager.
