Author's Letter to Readers:

Plot: 

Seungho is in his mid-twenties and has not been in a serious relationship before. He secretly yearns (and is waiting) for a major love story to happen in his life. But he fears a dent in his popularity if he does eventually meet a girl of his dreams. 

Seungho's parents (his mother, to be exact), want to help their busy son to seek a partner that will eventually be their daughter-in-law. They have been asking around within their social circles to find a suitable choice to fit the position. They have also considered that because their son is a celebrity, the potential daughter-in-law should be vocationally skilled in an area that allows her to be involved in the entertainment industry as well, so she could be close to Seungho and has the chance to take care of him. 

The Chosen One is Im Yeon Hee, the daughter of the ex-colleague fellow high school mate of Seungho's father. She has a degree in beauty and is currently ending her last year in Kyunghee University, majoring in film studies. With her qualifications, she could enter J.Tune Entertainment as an assistant to the manager of MBLAQ, while also play the role of a make-up artiste for the group. 

Satisfied and confident that they have chosen a good catch for Seungho, the parents agreed to enjoy a retirement trip to Australia with Yeon Hee's dad. (Yeon Hee's mother has passed away when she was in her teens)

On the day when Im Yeon Hee is about to attend her first day of work, there was a major traffic jam at Dong Dae Mun. To avoid staying stuck in the jam, many people began to change their mode of transport and scurried to find the subway. In the midst of the confusion, two petite 23 year-old women fell in their bid to run to the nearest subway entrance to rush to their destinations. They collided and helped each other up, bowing and apologising good-naturedly as they picked up their bags and went on to take the same train with their tap cards in their hands. Little did they know that this fateful collision would have caused a life turning change to both their lives... WIll Seungho find his first true love through this arranged meeting by the parents? 

Characters:

YANG SEUNGHO (16 October 1987)

Leader of MBLAQ (Military style disciplinarian that dotes on his dongsaengs as much as he is strict with them; he has an extra soft side when s entice him with food)

Great at playing the piano, has soulful vocals, good at dancing, loves to eat at all times of the day (haha ^^v), and does not really have an ideal type for a girl (except that he wishes to meet The One at his own time, at his own pace). 

YOU (LEE YEON HEE) (23 September 1988)

Orphaned at the tender age of 15, you are always juggling a few jobs at any one time because you are hard up for cash. You lived with your grumpy aunt (from your father's side of the family) for 4 years before moving out to live in a semi-rundown rooftop one-room apartment somewhere in Gangnam, Seoul. You delayed entering college for 2 years to work your off and save up money. You are now on extended leave of absence from her university studies because you have to put your studies on hold to earn (save!) more money for your fees and expenses for the remaining 1.5 years (3 semesters) of your studies. You are a film studies major at Kyunghee University. 

Has soulful, sorrowful vocals, loves to watch others dance (you're often mesmerised by people that can dance very well), you seldom watch TV but does listen to Younha's Starry Starry Night and Shim Shim Ta Pa, etc radio programmes, loves to eat street food and is a decent cook (homecooked food). 

Jobs that you have taken up before: milk delivery girl, newspaper delivery girl, registered documents delivery girl, fried/grilled chicken delivery girl, part-time cook at a street-side jigae stall, waitress in a club, waitress in a themed cafe, part-timer at theme parks, mascots for theme parks and departmental stores. 

IM YEON HEE (3 September 1988)

Raised by a single father since mother's death at the age of 12. Doted on by the father and her studies is supported by the insurance payouts and the college fund left behind by her mother's passing. She took 2 years to get a degree in beauty management before entering Kyunghee University.

Loves beauty products and is interested in fashion. Enjoys films and like to discuss them with others, hence her major. Loves to dye her hair all the time and absolutely dislikes having jet black hair because it is too boring. 

YOUR FRIEND, LEE EUN YOUNG (10 December1988)

Bubbly girl who keeps you optimistic and cheers you up when you are down and stressed. Always comes over to your rooftop apartment for sleepovers and tries to buy lots of household supplies to your place (so as to help you with your finances -- sneakily). She is from an average-income family and lives in an apartment with her parents a few streets from your place. 

OTHER MBLAQ MEMBERS will appear sporadically throughout the story (sorry, I've not figured out who'll be more prominently written in at this point of time)

Just to clarify: I say that I've OCs here. You see my character 'Lee Yeon Hee', who has the face of the real Lee Yeon Hee (actress) and you must be thinking 'What!? How's this an original character!?" Alrighty people, yes I've used the face of the real Lee Yeon Hee for my character, who's also called Lee Yeon Hee, but hey I'm just borrowing real Lee Yeon Hee's face okay? It's for you (and me!) to visualise how my story's Lee Yeon Hee looks like! That is all. I repeat. That. Is. All.
