Date?
Mistaken LoveNo one's pov
It was already 11pm by the time the pair finished their ramen date catch-up dinner. Yeon Hee felt a slight disappointment at the quick passing of time and silently bemoaned the impending separation with Seungho to call it a night. Tonight, she learned a lot of her supposed past with Seungho. They talked about their childhood and shared some stories from their schooling days. Of course, she had to lie and make up fictional stories based on her real life experiences so they would accommodate the real Yeon Hee's possible life experiences. All throughout dinner, she felt a mixture of fear and excitement, apprehensiveness and anticipation. She was fearful and apprehensive of exposure or what cracks she might make in her performance. Yet, she was also excited about being with Seungho on a one-on-one situation, and found herself anticipating his every move.
The dinner date went pretty well. Nothing that could potentially wreck Yeon Hee's cover cropped up. Seungho was ever the gentleman. He held open the door, held out her chair, and foot the bill. He did everything expected of a man during a date an outing with a girl. Yeon Hee, on the other hand, was the attentive date friend, who listened and offered her views, shared her thoughts with Seungho. It was a meal that bridged the lost time for Seungho and brought them closer for Yeon Hee.
Walking her up to her level, Seungho lingered behind as they exchanged goodnights. As Yeon Hee turned to leave, she paused just as Seungho called out to her. Momentarily frozen in their spots on the stair well landing, the only sounds that could be heard were their slightly heavy breathing from climbing the stairs. They had avoided taking the lift to prevent unwanted paparazzi shots.
Seungho's point of view
She doesn't seem that bad a candidate as an arranged marriage partner. Seungho smiled to himself, then he started at the strange thought that crept into his mind. Shaking his head a little, he called out to Yeon Hee. She paused in her step just then. A few seconds passed before she turned to look at him quizzically. His mouth went dry all of a sudden. He wasn't sure why he called her back. You wanted to kiss her. Seungho's eyes widened slightly at that thought and blinked at her to disguise his own surprise at his inner thought.
