Donghae’s POV

Since me and eunhyuk won’t be having any schedule this week, here we are in (insert your country) for the audition of “Korea’s Next Star”. We are representing SME since BOA-shi had other plans. It’s been a long day and exhaustion is starting to beat the best of us. I suddenly regained my energy when contestant 13151 entered the room. She’s a bit tall but of course I’m taller than her hehehe and she’s really pretty. I was about to ask her a question when Eunhyuk suddenly speak

“How old are you?” which made me laugh

With a puzzled look Eunhyuk looked at me and whispers “What?”

“What’s so funny?” she asked in fluent Korean

“Nothing….wait., you can speak in Korean?” I was surprised

She nods and smiles at me :D

“Okay let’s start, what’s your strong point? Singing or dancing?” one of the judge form JYP asked.

I looked at her and thought that she might sing since her attire won’t be good if she’ll dance. But her answer took me by surprise

“I can do both”

“So are your going to perform a song and dance no.?” the other judge from YG asked

“I suggest you go and sing for us first” I said as I instruct her to go on with her performance

As the music starts, a familiar melody covered the room, she decided to sing our very own “In My Dreams”., is she an elf? I smiled with the idea of her being one of our beloved elfs.

“She’s good” Eunhyuk whispered, “I can feel her emotions and her rendition of this song is really great” I nodded as I agreed with what he said.

As she reached this part, her emotions were more intense, she has this ability to make her audience feel the same emotions she have. The room was filled with silence after her song number. She slowly reached for her bag and held out a folder, she went straight to our table and give each judge some sheets of paper before she return to her position. I examined the paper and to my surprise

“Hi, I’m Natalie Sanchez, Lee Seong Chan is my Korean name, I’m 20 years old and I don’t really intend to win in this competition” which catch the attention of all the people in the room.

Eunhyuk suddenly reached for his phone while smirking “I think it will be interesting from here”

“Can you further explain what you just said?” Mr. YG said, sorry I can’t remember their name haha but he’s the representative from YG

“Each participant in this competition dreams of being a famous star and be recognized all over the world and as for me..”

“then why did you join this competition? You have the voice, the looks and I can say that you have the qualifications to be Korea’s Next Star” Mr. YG added

“I believe that this competition is my first step to my goal, Kpop stars are great and I don’t have anything against them but what makes me curious is that how great those people behind the scenes work. I want to be a part of the team who creates and supports these stars”

I can see determination burning in her eyes which made me asked “Then why didn’t you tell us earlier”

She looked at me, straight to my eyes she said “because I’m sure that you’ll kicked me out and won’t give me any chance to speak for myself”

“But we are more interested with your talent” Mr. JYP said

“What do you think” I quietly asked Eunhyuk

“sshh!!! I’m recording it”

“If that’s the case Sir then I would try my best to win in this competition” she answered

“Why the sudden change of mind” I asked

She looked at me again before turning his gaze back to Mr. JYP “and will try to re-apply as a staff for your company, but I guess by that time I would be over qualified” she laughed cutely

All the four of us deliberate as she remained still in her position staring at the staffs working behind us. She’s different and interesting and I just can’t take my eyes off of her.

“You’re hired” Eunhyuk teasingly said

“jincha!!!” smile covered her face

“just kidding..haha you passed” Eunhyuk added.

“ow! *forces a smile* Thank you” she bowed her head

I held my hand to my mouth to keep myself from laughing. She’s more excited with the thought of her being a staff than being accepted as a participant.

“See you in Korea, Natalie-ssi” Eunhyuk said as he winked at Seong Chan

Yah!!! Lee Hyukjae what do you think you’re doing? I looked at her as she exited the room with her cheeks bright red. Is she blushing?

“She’s cute” Eunhyuk suddenly said

“Bwoh!!!”

“I’m just stating facts, but don’t yeah worry Hae, she’s not my type” I felt relieved with what he said. Aish why am I like this >.<

“I’ll just go and make a call, can I ask for a few minutes of break” eunhyuk said

“sure, Fifteen minutes break everyone” one of the staff said
