I should have never written that note.

I should have never told you to meet me.

I should have run fast and far away from you.
Maybe you’ll ignore my note

Perhaps you’ve already forgotten all about me.
We both know I’m not worth the effort.
Why would you choose to live your life chasing after me?
Why does anyone choose to spend their life chasing after another person?
I guess if you think about it, it’s all the fault of our emotions.
We all do stupid things and blame it on an emotion.

Take us for example.
We told each other we were in love.

Yet since then we have spent all our time hurting each other by running away.
I wonder what would happen if we both simply stopped using our emotions.
If we both disconnected from the whole concept of emotion.
We wouldn’t worry about being heartbroken or being sad.

We wouldn’t even have to worry about making each other happy.

We could live together and simple be together.

Ultimately what we both told the world we both wanted right?
But is being together what we really want?

We were happy before you left. At least I thought we were both happy.
Maybe that’s why you left. Maybe you were miserable and just didn’t want to tell me.
But then why would you chase me when I left?
It can’t have been out of duty or obligation.

If it was you would have given up looking for me a very long time ago!

What still drives you to chase me?
What possess you to never give up on the lost cause I have become?
