~ 1 month later ~

I could hear people talking. I couldn't see them, but they were there. I knew it. I wanted to talk too, but nothing came out. No matter how hard I tried, I was still stuck in the darkness. I begged for freedom, for life again. My head couldn’t take it anymore. Light burst through the darkness and at last, I opened my eyes, and saw faces surrounding me. My body was hooked up to all these funky machines. What the heck?

"She's awake. I didn't think this was possible." The man quickly scribbled down somthing on his clipboard.

My breathing became heavy. They neared me and waved in front of my eyes while flashing bring lights. My head hurt. As if it were being crushed by two boulders. Immediately I screamed.

"Stop! You can't move yet!"

Two ladies got a hold of my wrist and struggled to get me to stay still. I fought against anyone who tried to hold me down. I felt a pinch on my left arm, my eye lids became heavy and again, I fell back... back into the darkness.
