I laid there watching the doctors working on my body and trying to bring it back to life. Blood was rushing out of my wounds, and I could feel my ribs cracking beneath my chest. Who was I? I couldn't remember. My vision began to blur. I could feel myself getting colder, weaker, sleepier...

That voice. Who was it? It was a guy's voice. I watched as the screaming face pushed through. I wanted to scream back. I wanted to say something, but my voice didn't obey. I hopelessly searched for them, but straps held my body down.

I screamed when the sudden pain ripped through my body. My lungs begged for more air, but I just couldn't get enough, and I fell limp. Slowly, I couldn't see, I could hear. It was dark. I was trapped. I never thought my life would end like this. But if this is death, it was nothing like I imagined. It was over. Everything I once loved, everything I once knew.
