“Hello, Jessica.” Yoona cheerfully greeted the soul she had summoned back to the Abode.

Jessica found herself sitting on the white sands as the keeper who greeted her strode towards her.

“How have you been?” the keeper asked.

“I think you already know what happened…” Jessica answered nonchalantly. Her eyes were out searching for the keeper’s companion but she could see no trace of Seohyun anywhere.

Before the mortal soul could ask, Yoona revealed her companion’s whereabouts. “Seohyun is back in the physical world. She needs to keep Nana’s spirits up.”

“I failed, right?” Jessica looked down to the ground. She absentmindedly played with the white sands as they ran through her hands like an emptying hourglass.

The smile on Yoona’s face faded as she sat before the troubled lady. “All you need is to forget Taeyeon whenever you possess Nana’s body. You don’t have to worry about him reciprocating your feelings. The only hard part would be for you to resist Nana’s emotions whenever you take control of her.” Yoona explained as she patted the mortal’s head.

“You have time on your side, Jessica. Use it to fix your mistakes…” Yoona’s parting words struck her deep inside as she once more vanished from the realm of the Abode and later found herself in front of Nana’s apartment.

A tired sigh escaped Jessica’s lips as she slipped inside Nana’s room finding her medium in a better state. The ghost led herself towards the sofa where Nana had been sleeping on.

Jessica sat on the floor as she leveled her eyes to Nana’s face. “Nana…” the ghost softly called, awakening the slumbering lady. “May I borrow your body one last time?”
