It was movie night, finally, a nice Friday with my friends.

Instead of going to the theater, we save money by watching films at Kibum’s house. It was more convenient and comfortable.

I arrived there, and I saw Minho sit next to Key and Onew sit next to Minho.

“Yah! Guys, let me sit with my lover, move out of the way!” I tried shoving them off the couch, and only Onew fell to the floor.

“Fine, sit next to him.” The tofu rubbed his neck in pain, and seated himself to the other side of me.

“Where’s Taemin?” The chicken-lover asked.

“He’s in the bathroom,” Key answers.

Just then, the boy walks in and places himself besides Onew. I get confused because he doesn’t sit with Key.

“Okay then, let’s start.” Onew hits the play button on the remote while we chewed on some snacks at the low table in front of us. The screen begins to dive in on the movie, and I watch.

I couldn’t help but glance at Key during the film.

He was smiling, nodding at what Minho was whispering to him.

What was happening?

“Guys, be quiet,” I warned them, even though they weren’t making much noise.

The two ignored me, and I felt something bubble inside me. Was it because they were getting along so well?

Not minding it after a while, my attention was brought back to the television.

A loud giggle escaped into the room. My head swiveled to Minho, whom was extremely close to Key’s face.

An ache formed on my chest, and I wasn’t sure if it was Key or Minho who caused it.

Yes, I still have lingering feelings for the diva.

Their noses were about to touch, and I didn’t hesitate pulling Minho back.

“What are you doing?” I mumbled in his ear.

He didn’t respond, instead he leaned towards Key, and muttered something at him. The other nodded, and Minho came back to my side, resting the side of his face on my shoulder. His hair brushed against my chin, and I could feel his soft fingers intertwine in mine.

“Don’t worry about it Jonghyun.”

His words didn’t change my mood.

Why was I still mad at him?

No logical reason came to me, so I warmed up to Minho again, putting my shoulder around him.

He didn’t smile or react at all to my action, and I got a bit annoyed.

At the end of the movie, everything was nice again. Everyone was relaxed, and we all soon left the house.

--one week later*--

Steam accumulated on me, and my mind was buzzing.

A whole freaking week, that ignorant frog has been ignoring me.

Ohohoho, that’s not all that has been irritating me for the past seven days.

Day one- Monday, he sits directly next to Key at the lunch table. I didn’t care, since they weren’t really talking to each other.

Day two- Minho gets all touchy with Kibum, bumping shoulders, knees, hands, even feet. I guess I wasn’t that furious about it, but the constant apologies the doe-eyed boy spat out made me want to bang my head into a wall.

Day three- He “accidentally” falls on top of the diva. For some reason, Key doesn’t get sassy at all, and they stared at each other for a whole minute before getting up. The images of their smiling and blushing faces still come back to my head.

Day four- Minho rejects Taemin’s ask for help in studying. What was his excuse to the poor mushroom-haired boy? “I’m going to hang out with Key that day.”

He dared to say it, right in front of my face.

Day five- By this day, I’m fuming. My complaints are clearly told to the guy.

But still I continue being ignored. Key joins in and defends Minho. And I couldn’t help but see them link arms. Since this is a private school, I can’t risk getting expelled by starting a fight.

Day six- In this day, we all met up for a nice Saturday afternoon lunch. Key was just chatting regularly with Minho, nothing much. I felt really bad though because Taemin was being ignored and it made me want to cry. His face was all scrunched up and teary, my heart broke seeing him like that. The boy didn’t even touch his food once. Even though he appeared depressed, an angry aura was revolving around him.

I could never understand what was going on in that kid’s mind.

Day 7- Being it was Sunday, it was a great time to go out for a nice stroll in the park. To calm my raging head, I invited Minho over to walk with me. He agreed, and I was over-thrilled. But when I saw him at the park, he brought Key and Taemin along with him. I didn’t mind Taemin’s presence, but seeing the diva be all nice, caring, and flirty with my Minho was just overwhelming.

I ran back home without them noticing I was ever there. 

Today-

 It was lunch time.

Minho hugged Kibum.

Key rested his head on his shoulder.

And their dispositions felt all fluffy and lovey dovey.

That’s when I burst, and so did Taemin.
