It’s the weekend, and my date with Taemin is today.

We met up at a local park, but had no idea how to start.

“I usually plan out my dates and such, but I was too excited to do anything organized for today,” I told Taemin. He nodded, understanding my valid reason.

“Let’s just hang at the coffee shop,” he suggested. It was a nice idea.

 “Sounds perfect.”

A wonderful aroma trickled up my nose when we entered the store.

Taemin tried being the dominant one, ordering our drinks. But it turned out he didn’t know anything on the menu, and just got himself embarrassed.

So I ended up getting the beverages for us.

As we sat down, warm refreshments in our hands, Taemin’s face was still noticeably red. I patted his head, trying to help him calm down from the minor humiliation. He cutely pouted, triumphantly sipping his hot chocolate.

“I’m not a child, I can drink coffee,” He stated while slurping down the sweet drink.

“But your enjoying that chocolate right?” I said, smirking.

He blushed, but moved his head up and down in agreement.

I put my nose to the end of my cup, first inhaling the roasted scent.

Aah~ coffee is almost therapeutic to me.

I gulped down some of the liquid, enjoying its delightful taste.

We sat at the table for a while in a surprisingly comfortable quietness. Nostalgia hit my brain, this felt like how it was on our first date; when we were eating in a pleasant silence.

Smiling at the memory, Taemin seemed to remember too.

“This atmosphere feels familiar,” He believed, grinning.

Really just the simplicity of this date is what’s getting to me. Usually I love detailed events, where everything was in a particular order and such. I never thought I could come to like something like this.

Then I met Taemin.
 

While drinking, I noticed Taemin grow a chocolate mustache. I chuckled, wrapping a napkin around my finger then wiping the drink of his mouth.

“Thanks,” He mumbled.

“Your welcome.”

We both grew bored, and left the store with the cups almost finished.

“Key can I try your coffee?” Taemin asked.

“Taemin, do you still believe in indirect kisses?” I questioned him.

I caught him, spot on. He got flustered, and nodded.

“Why get one from a cup when you have the real one here?”

With that, I pressed my lips against his and he tried not to hold back his smile.

When I pulled out, I had switched our drinks.

“Key…”

I tipped the paper where Taemin had put his mouth, and finished what was left of the sugary chocolate.

He beamed, and also tasted my coffee.

“Satisfied?” He grinned at my question.

I heard some suspicious rustling behind me but I decided to ignore it.

We threw out are empty drinks at a nearby garbage can. I entangled my fingers in to his hands and he squeezed his hold.

Even though it there was still daylight out, we wanted to go home.

We weren’t even tired, but there was really nothing left to do.

“Taemin let me bring you back at your house,” I pleaded.

He swiveled his head in disagreement. “I don’t want to be a hassle, so I can take the bus alone.”

“Taemin-”

“Key, do you trust me?” He interrupted.

“Of course,” I answered.

“Then let me be off on my own.” Taemin placed a farewell kiss on my forehead, and I smirked.

“Goodbye then,” I waved to him when he released my hand.

“See you tomorrow,” He waved back as he walked backwards, fading slowly.

I cupped my hands around my mouth. “I love you,’ I tried calling out.

He was already gone.

A/N: Was the ending sad? I didn't know how to end this chapter so...yeah. But I think this one was very fluffy and short and simple.
