2 weeks later in Tokyo, Japan

“Hyung, why are you not coming tomorrow?”  Kyuhyun suddenly barged in Donghae’s hotel room.  His eyes quickly darted on the luggage and clothes piled on the king-sized bed.  “Are you leaving?”

“Yeah,” Donghae answered nonchalantly.  “First thing in the morning…”

“Seriously?”

The older guy stopped folding his clothes and looked at him.  “Do I look like I’m kidding?”  He looked damn serious.  Kyuhyun couldn’t grasp any words to reply to him.  That was one of the rare moments when Donghae sternly faced him.

“Aish!  I thought you would be coming with me at the book store and help me choose mangas to read—”

“That’s pathetic,” the other guy scoffed.

“Yah!”

“You know what,” Donghae started with a disgusted expression.  “You’re like those girls addicted to reading love stories.  Such pieces of trash kept them dreaming of having their Prince Charming—who eventually doesn’t exist in reality—” he massaged his temple while Kyuhyun only gaped at him.  “Ugh!  I should return to Seoul now.  I can’t believe Sunny didn’t tell me everything about her Prince.”

“Prince Charming is nonexistent, huh?” he injected an extra dose of sarcasm.  “Fine—whatever.  I’ll follow you there a month later since they’re already asking me to manage the sports club—”

Donghae’s face suddenly lit up.  “So I’ll be getting a discount on the membership fee then?”

Awesome mood swing—he almost blurted out.  How can his hyung manage to become bipolar while preparing his things?  “You wish—I’ll even triple the price you’ll have to pay.”

“Yah—You!”

“Sayonara, Nii-san.”  He ran as fast as he could before Donghae hits him with the pillow that he grabbed.

There’s still an hour before Donghae’s flight back to Seoul.  He patiently waited for it with none other than his friend, Kyuhyun.  He insisted on tagging along with him and reasoned out that he had nothing to do.  But there, he sat beside him—laughing over the book he was reading.

“The airport is not your leisure house, Kyu,” he commented.

“I know—” then he let out another laugh again.  Out of curiosity, Donghae peeked at the current page then to the cover and read ‘Crash!’

“What do you get from reading that?” 

Seconds passed yet he didn’t reply.  Nice talking to you, man…  He glowered at him.

“You were saying something, Hyung?” he only gave him a quick side way glance.

“Nothing.  You shouldn’t have come here.”

Even if he is his best buddy, there are times when he annoys the hell out of him.  Like this one—“And who will you drag here to send you back to Korea?” Kyuhyun retaliated.  “Those random girls around you—Geez—”

“They like me.”  Donghae smirked at the girl who just passed by—looking at him…and to another one…and another.

“No—they’re flirting with you.”

“It’s okay.  I’m not after a long-lasting commitment anyway, a fling would be fine.”

Kyuhyun rolled his eyes in disbelief.  He couldn’t count how many girls his hyung has dated.  Donghae calls them his ‘Dolls’ but never treated anyone of them seriously.  The longest time he’s in a relationship was 1-2 weeks only.  Though he didn’t mean it, he’d end up making them cry when breaking up with them.  He is a lady killer—good-looking bachelor—freaking rich though he’s arrogant and a playboy.

“What if they ask you to be serious with them?”

“Never will that happen—”

“Karma happens, Hyung.”

“So?—I already told you ‘Prince Charming’ isn’t real.  I could never be like that—not in my lifetime.”

“Wait ‘til you fall in love, Hyung.”

“He’ll be back today.”

Sunny encircled the current date on the calendar.  The previous days were crossed out with a red marker.  Two weeks passed by easily.  Donghae will arrive any time of the day; and yet, she hasn’t met Sungmin.

She and Jessica were busy on their works.  The latter was assigned at the borders of South Korea to cover a certain event; while she had to meet a number of luncheons with some of their clients.

Though it was her off today, it was impossible to talk to Sungmin.  Thus, she can’t help but think, God, please delay Donghae’s flight… but brushed it off her mind immediately.  She should be thinking of how to escape him instead.  She can go out.  But to where?

Since she was bored, too, she just went out of their house without definite plans.  She just walked until her phone rang.

“What’s up?” she told Jessica.

“Are you free today?”

“Yeah—” Obviously…

“Come over to my house then,” Jessica suggested.

“Okay, sure.”

At least, if she’s with her, she could somehow forget about Donghae.  Or if Jessica agrees, she’ll sleep there for tonight.
