“Sehun-ah,” Krystal poked him once, gently on his right cheek.  However, Sehun was busy writing an essay beside her.  “Fine,” she pursed her lips, “talk to you later.”

He completely ignored her, thereby, disappointing her.  It was only seven in the evening and yet study time was already over, an hour ago.  He asked if he could use the remaining time to work on his org reports.  This explains why she’s bored.  After three long minutes (according to her), she tried to get his attention again.

“Sehun—Oh Sehun—Sehun-ah,” she sing-sang playfully near his ear.

That tickled him.

“What the heck, Soojung?!” he scolded her.  “Can’t you see I am busy here?  Stop kidding around.  It’s not funny anymore.”

“Hehe,” she grinned instead of being frightened.  Seeing him annoyed kind of amuses her.  Honestly, he looks cute. A part of her mind admitted.  She had learnt to love his company, even in his grouchiest moments.  She enjoyed every second that she’s with him.  “Are you done yet?” she asked like a kid.

“No.  So stop pestering me and let me finish this fast.”

“What a grouch,” she muttered under her breath.  She strangled him in her mind but in reality, she can only scowl at him.  “I hope you’d have writer’s block *mehrong*.”

However, Sehun didn’t hear it.  He was too focused.  He was in his own world and Krystal wanted to be in it too.  Her face softened as she watched him concentrate.  No wonder, they called him smart hottie.  He had both looks and brain.

Unconsciously, she was inching slowly towards him to have a vivid view of his dashing features.  His pale skin, thick eyelashes…pink thin lips…   She can’t help but be mesmerized.  Lucky is the girl who is to be kissed by him she thought.  And you wish it would be you? Her selfish subconscious said.

But he really is drop dead gorgeous that she would just devote her time to stare at him—and yes!  She can do it for free tonight, but…

“GET THE OUT!”

The voice reverberated in the house, startling Sehun and Krystal.  It felt like cold water was splashed on her, awaking her soul.  Her eyes widened when Sehun looked sideways and caught her staring.  But why did he stare back?

OMG.  She hissed in her mind when her heart beat sped up to a dangerous level.

“YOU ARE UNFAIR—LOOK—YOUR SISTER CAN BRING HER BOYFRIEND, WHILE I, YOUR BOSS, HAVE TO FORCE MYSELF IN?” Lee Donghae came in suddenly and pointed at SeStal.  Following him was Jessica who seemed to burst out any moment.

The kids were both flustered while gaping at HaeSica.

“BECAUSE HE CAN AND YOU CAN NOT!”

“AND WHY IS THAT?” he held his chin up and raised his brows.

“As you’ve mentioned earlier, Sehun is her boyfriend,” she said without blinking, now calmer.

Silence covered the space momentarily.

“HE IS NOT!”  “I AM NOT!”

They broke the awkward atmosphere however it triggered the tension between them.  They just found themselves sitting 5 meters away from each other.

“FINE!  Sehun is her friend who is a boy.  Get it?”

Donghae couldn’t help but smirk because he won their argument.  He laughed to mock her failed attempt to send him out.  A jackass he is, he sprawled himself on the sofa, feeling at home.  “Won’t you offer your president any drink?”
