“Help me”

It didn’t make sense at all. You knew Korean, needless to say. And it would be stupid of you to not understand a sentence as simple as this. “Help me?” Luhan read out loud as he walked towards the big window. “This is fresh blood.” He pointed out.

“What the hell is going on here?” Kai said. Suddenly they heard a faint scream that seemed to come from a distant part of the mansion.

“AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!” You looked at each other upon hearing the scream.

“Did you hear that?”

“That sounded a lot like – “

“D.O.!” You said all together. You stormed out of the room and ran, hoping that your friends are okay. Kai was the last one to step foot out of the room. Before he could though, something stopped him.

Another sound. A lullaby.

He turned his head to take another look inside Tiffany’s room. It was the music box, starting to play music again on its own.

As if he was in a trance, he walked towards it. He listened to the music play. Kai blinked. He didn’t know what came over him. What am I doing? He mentally asked himself and scoffed. He was about to walk away but then he took another glance at the music box. He didn’t know why, but something told him he should bring the box with him.

And so he did.

You came rushing into the lobby where everybody was. The boys were hovering over a very hysterical D.O. sitting on the floor. No one was able to bring out a proper conversation from him.

“I wanna get out of here. I don’t wanna die. Let me out of here.” He frantically mumbled to himself as his eyes kept a look out on his surroundings. Worry was written on everyone’s faces.

“It’s no use.” Kris says as he saw you approaching. “He wouldn’t talk to us.”

“What happened?” Sehun asked.

“He just…” Tao began as he shook his head, trying to find sense in what just happened. “He came running out of the kitchen. He was crying and screaming.”

“I’ve never seen him like this before.” Baekhyun said.

“I don’t think any of us have.” Suho replied.

“What exactly happened before this?” You asked. The boys looked at each other, waiting for someone to tell the whole thing. Finally Chen decided to take the initiative.

“We were walking to the lobby from the kitchen when D.O. said he forgot his phone.” He said. “We waited for him a bit but when he was taking too long,  we figured he was just talking to that Seohyun girl, so we just kept walking.”

Luhan’s ears perked up. “Seohyun?”  Everyone looked at him questioningly, except for his brother Sehun who was also having a hard time believing what he just heard.

“Do you know something about this?” You asked Luhan. He kept quiet. He ran towards D.O. and knelt in front of him. He grabbed the boy’s shoulders and shook it a little too harshly. “What did you see?!” Luhan almost shouted.

D.O. stopped mumbling and stared at Luhan for a while before he answered. “She… she killed herself.” D.O. whispered, desperately searching for consolation in Luhan’s eyes. “I’m not crazy. I know what I saw, you have to believe me!” He held on to Luhan’s arms as he shook his head, not knowing anymore how to prove his sanity.

“I know. I believe you.” Luhan said softly. “You’re gonna be okay.” He patted D.O.’s shoulders sternly before he helped
