I couldn’t help it, but I laughed and nearly fell out of my seat as he explained how he met Heechul. Of course it had been awkward at first after I introduced myself and Siwon had immediately understood why I was there. He explained how the rumors had been going around how Heechul used his adorable cousin to break things off with him, but Siwon wasn’t hurt by it.

In fact, he explained how he just wanted to get to know Heechul better rather than date him. Of course Heechul had come down to the conclusion that this hunk of a man wanted to date him just because he approached him. Oh dear cousin sometimes I swore I had to bring your head down from the clouds.

“Well I’m sorry, but it seems my cousin believed you were trying to hit on him,” I said with a giggle.

“Oh I figured when you explained who you were,” Siwon said with a gentle smile.

“Oh so Heechul’s way of breaking things off has become well known huh?” I asked crossing my arms on the table.

“Oh it has become the talk among everyone who works with him and their friends,” Siwon said with a chuckle.

I couldn’t help but grin as I took a sip of the banana milk he had brought with him and offered to me. He said he knew there was a chance of me showing up rather than Heechul and everyone knew how I loved the stuff. I was touched by his kindness and wondered why on earth Heechul wanted to turn him down.

“It’s a shame my cousin is turning you down, you seem like a genuine guy,” I had to say as I looked at my drink to him.

A smile lit up his face and I didn’t realize it, but I instinctively gave one back.

“Why thank you, but I wouldn’t mind getting to know you. You are rather adorable,” he said and reached over to push away the bangs over my eyes.

I felt myself blush lightly and smile down shyly. I muttered a low thank you at the compliment and he simply waved his hand. I often wasn’t complimented let alone on my looks, especially from someone as handsome as Siwon. I might have been a guy, but the Adonis in front of me could make anyone’s heart flutter. How the hell did Heechul not see or be affected by this?!

“So Taemin, I really am curious about something,” Siwon suddenly piped up.

I tilted my head in curiosity and waited for him to continue. What could he be curious about, I had to ask. Taking my silence as a hint, he continued.

“Please don’t take this the wrong way but, why is it that you do this? I mean, break up stuff off for your cousin?” Siwon asked.

I stopped and stared at him before staring at the container in my hands. I had to think about that one for I never really thought of it. I bit my lower lip before glancing up at Siwon who sat across from me patiently. However, not even a second after I knew my reasons for it. But I really wasn’t sure if I was willing to explain it to a stranger. Again, my mouth got ahead of me.

“I look out for him just as he has looked out for me I suppose. We really only have each other for support and he has had it rough after his last relationship. I just don’t want him to hurt again, I don’t want to see him broken ever… not like he was before,” I explained softly and closed my eyes to keep the tears back.

From where I sat, I heard the chair screech as it slid the floor. I didn’t dare look up though, but gasped when I suddenly felt arms around me. I was pulled to side and into a firm chest. My eyes widened in surprise when I realized it was Siwon. I smiled brokenly and patted his back, appreciating the gesture of kindness.  I stared at his shoulder, which I rested my chin against and heard a few giggles. I gazed to the side and saw a few girls pointing. I felt heat rise to my cheeks as I pulled away from the hug.

“T-thanks, you really are sweet,” I said as I looked at the man who I suppose I could consider a friend.

Siwon smiled and patted my head before his hand fell to my shoulder. He gave it a gentle squeeze and made me look at him.

“It was the way I was raised, but I can tell how much Heechul means to you and from the way he speaks at work about you, you mean the world to him.”

I had to grin at his statement; Heechul talked about me in his work and he cared. He might have been my cousin, but I truly saw him as an older brother.

“Well it’s the same for me it seems,” I said with a broken chuckle, earning a grin from the Adonis.

Suddenly, we heard someone cry out Siwon’s name. We turned to see a young man, who was shorter than Siwon and had a shy smile on his face, waving a bit awkwardly. Siwon only smiled and waved back before turning back to me. I could immediately tell the change in his eyes, they were much brighter and alive. I couldn’t help but smile and comment.

“He’s your special one, isn’t he?”

Siwon’s smile faltered for a second, before he flashed me a grin and laughed. He only nodded and took another look at the other man before turning his attention back on me.

“Yeah he is and it has been a pleasure getting to know you Taemin. Exchange numbers?” he asked.

Without hesitation, I nodded and grinned reaching for my phone. His smile stayed the same as we handed each other our phones and exchanged numbers. We then returned them to their rightful owners and quickly parted ways. He pulled me into an unexpected hug before pulling back and walking towards the other, glancing over his shoulder and waving his hand though he only opened three fingers.

I only waved back and watched him go, smiling wide when I noticed he wrapped his arms around the others waist. I had to admit, they were quite a wonderful couple, adorable. They were adorable, especially when the smaller of the two blushed heavily and tried to escape the grip, only to be caught around the waist. Siwon seemed oblivious to the stares around him and I caught myself hoping, I would fine someone like that for myself.

“TAE!” I heard an all too familiar voice scream.

I my heel to see a practically fuming Heechul stomp over, the Bachelors behind. Their faces seemed strained and obviously looked annoyed and I could only wonder what had happened to them. Before I even had a chance to open my mouth, Heechul grasped my shoulders and began to shake me quickly.

“What is wrong with you? How could you flirt with him!” he hissed at me.

I shut my eyes tightly as he continued to shake me. I allowed him to rant on and all I could do was wait for him to finish; if I even tried to speak now it would only fall upon deaf ears. Cupid seemed a bit worried as did the others when the continuous shaking occurred over about a minute. I could also see Cupid walk over and that’s when I realized a few people were staring. Yeah, being shaken in an open space wasn’t exactly a good thing to do in public.

“Um, Heechul,” Cupid stared but I quickly interfered.

“No, don’t!” I quickly said when Heechul finally let go of my shoulders.

I rubbed them slightly wincing knowing well there would leave light bruises. I followed my ranting cousin with my eyes for a second before turning my full attention onto the other five men. I sighed heavily as their eyes moved between me and Heechul who was at my side. I rolled my eyes and noticed Cupid kept his eyes mostly on my cousin.

“Just let him rant; he won’t hear you if you try to reason with him,” I explained crossing my arms over my chest.

“You say as it as if it has happened before,” Minho spoke, his eyes slightly glaring at me.

I raised an eyebrow at him, wondering why he seemed angry. I then noticed a similar face on Key while Jonghyun and Onew appeared slightly saddened.

“It has, though I really don’t understand why. I didn’t even flirt with the guy. Besides, he already has someone special,” I said with a heavy sigh.

“He does?” asked Key stepping forward.

Again I could only tilt my head in curiosity at his sudden brighten mood, the other three’s faces also brightening in dare I say hope?  I only nodded and glanced at Heechul who had now stopped ranting and stared at me. 

“Then why did he ask me out?!”

I rolled my eyes at my cousin’s idioticy and vague view of the world.

“He wasn’t! He was trying to be friends with you seeing as you work together,” I relented, annoyed.

Heechul then appeared like a fish out of water; his mouth ajar as his jaw moved up before falling back down. I slapped my forehead before grabbing onto his wrist. I then turned to the five Bachelors and smiled.

“I’m getting hungry so its best I drag my cousin to eat and get him focused again. You are welcomed to join,” I suggested as I tugged Heechul who was still out of it.

“Sure, we’d love to join you,” Cupid almost immediately replied with a smile, his eyes still hidden behind his shades.
