Because I Hate Chunji
You walked next to each other without saying a word, the ringing of both your cellphones interrupting the awkward silence.
"Yeoboseyo?"
"Hey there, Ttalginaah!" the voice in the other line replied.
"Oh! Hey there unnie! What's up?"
"Well... Remember you promised to hang out with my darling and his dongsaeng?" she asked innocently.
"Yeah, why?" you asked her cluelessly.
"Well... Can you meet me at the restaurant in a few minutes?"
"Uhh..." you hesitated, looking at Chunji and hearing him say 'But I'm with someone right now hyung'.
"Sure!" you answered cheerfully. The last thing you wanted to do was to hang out with him.
"Great!" said your sister happily.
"Ok! I'll be there in 20 minutes!" you finally said, and hung up. He did so as well.
"Uhh, I have to meet someone right now," you told him, pretending to be apologetic.
"Yeah, me too," he said, troubled.
"Well, where do you have to meet them?" he asked.
"Uhh near home, in Gangnam-gu. You?"
"Oh! Me too!" Damn, you thought.
"Gaja," he said, and you followed.
You got to the restaurant together. He entered the small place with you and you both looked at each other with suspicion. As you both entered two figures approached.
"Finally!" muttered your sister jokingly as you both greeted each other with a hug. Chunji was talking to the guy next to your sister and he immediately greeted your sister as well.
"So Min noona! Long time no see! It's good to see you again," said Chunji, and he and your sister hugged.
"Uhh, wait. Do you know each other?" you asked, a bit anxious.
"Ttalgi, I want you to meet Lee Hyun Shik, my darling," she said, smiling and turning to Chunji.
"Chanhee, this is my sister. Ttalgi, he is my darling's dongsaeng."
*NOOOOOOOOOOO. The whole world had exploded*
