-Mayu Pt

-After school

"Wannatabe-san?" Sayumi, a member of the track team, poked me.

"Hai?" I placed my bag over me.

"Hiro-senpei told me to tell you to meet him at the back of the school."

I nods, "Souka..." I followed her.

-Back of school

"Mada mada! Isn't it Mayu?" Hana, I remembered, along with some other girls.

Sayumi walks over to them.

They crossed their arms.

I stood feeling hopeless. I knew what they were thinking of doing with me.

"Nani? Where's Hiro-nii?" I found myself trembling.

My heart beating, anxietly.

They giggled, "Wah! She's scared!"

Hana appraoches me. "You mock us member that we can't run. Well, don't think that Yamada let you joined because he likes you!" She grabbed my collar.

I pulled away, "I don't!" I blurted.

Hana then wrap her hand around my chin. "You're not even cute, I don't understand!" She shove me away.

I felt onto the ground. A burnt raises on my knee. I looked down, a scar.

"Eethow..." I mumbled, rubbing it.

"Come here, you!" One of the girls grabbed me by my hair.

I pulled her hand, trying to escape from her grasp.

"Yamata!" I blurted, "Please!"

I felt scared. I didn't wanted to admit that I'm helpless. Tears dripped down my cheeks.

"How pitiful! She's crying," Hana said, making the clique giggled.

One girl took out a mini sissor, she hand it over. "Cut her hair!"

The girl holding my hair took it.

"No!" I try even harder to fight against her.

I sat, still. Crying to myself. I heard chipping. She was cutting my hair. My hair fell onto the ground, next to me.

I watches as it fell.

"Onii-chan..." I whispered. Where are you when I need you the most?

"Mayu?!"

The chipping stop.

"Yamada?" Hana said.

The girl each looks at each other.

The girl let go of my hair.

Yamada ran over.

The clique ran away.

"Oi! Mata!" He chase after them but stop.

He turn to me, "Daijobu?" he squat down next to me.

I nods. I felt relief over coming my body.

Using the heels of my hand, I wiped my tears. "Hai.."

"Liar, your not!" He grabbed my shoulder.

I gaze at him. "How did you know that I was here?"

He shook, "My instant just told me." He eyed me.

We made eye contact.

He flicked away.

Silence~~~

He pulled my arm, "Let's go to the infirmity."

I stood. Yet I couldn't kept my eyes away from him. He was acting weird.

-Yamada Pt

-Yamada's home

"What's up with you?" Daiki asked me.

I nods.

I couldn't help remembering those eyes of hers, so deep.

"Mayu, your soon to be student, was bullied. I helped her." I told him.

He widen his eyes. He rushes into the kitchen. "Is Mayu okay?" he blurted.

I was suprised, I've never saw him like this before. His eyes were full of worries.

"Yea, just a small scratch on her knee," I sigh "And her hair was cut."

Daiki immediatly pulled his phone out. He dailed a number.

After a while...

"Hiro-chan?"

I stood quite shock. My wonders grew. How did Daiki gotten Hiro's number? He's not even Daiki's student.

"Is Mayu alright?" He leaned his plams against the counter. He moved around the kitchen, uncomfortable.

"Ah souka!" He let out a relief.

He scratched the back of his neck. "Hai. What a relief!"

He nods a couple times more. "Jya." He closed his phone.

Silence filled us.

"How did you know Hiro and Mayu?" I asked.

He turn, "Eh?"

"I mean you never met them before and I've never mention them."

He nods. "I do. We were neighbors back in Yokahoma, my family moved here to Tokyo then they moved here years later."

I nods. Quite upset, he knew Mayu before I did.

It was silence again.

"What is your status with Mayu?"

Curiousity filled me.

He turn. He thought. A smile appear on his face.

He gaze away. "She is my first love..."

My heart throb. I glance down then back to him.

Nerousness and uneasiness fill me. I nods, "Souka." I showed a nerous smile.

He walked pass me, back into the living room. "I hope she won't get taken soon!" He jumped onto the sofa.

I stare at him. I turn.

God damn it! I got a rival... and he's my guy..

I grasp my palms together.

I felt worry. I knew that if I don't make a move fast, Mayu will get taken.

-Mayu's home

-Next morning

"Ohayou.." I walked into the kitchen, sat into a chair.

Okasa and Hiro-nii eyed me.

I knew that the haircut must be awful.

I touches my hair.

Okasa fill the cup in front of me with orange juice. "Mayu, let's go to the salon, skip school today."

I nods, "Mm.."

Hiro gaze at me.

I return his gaze.

He gently pat my head. "Be strong, don't show them your fears..." He whispered.

I nods. A smile was carved on my face. "Arigatou."

I feel stronger by his words. I thought, why did I let them do that to me?

But I won't in the future, I promise.

Each day, I felt as if me and Onii-chan are getting closer.
