"Nee! Dai! What are you doing up there?" I shouted up to Dai.

Dai look down at me. He was sitting on the branch of the old tree.

Dai smiles. "Come up, will you?"

"Eh?" I bit my lips.

He wave for me to come up.

I didn't hesitate and climped up. Hopefully, Okasa doesn't know about this.. she would kill me.

Dai scooted over to give me a spot next to him.

He patted next to him.

I sat down, adjusting to get comfortable.

I glance up to Dai.

Dai responded back with a smile.

Like a baka, I thought.

I chuckle at the thought.

Dai's smile faded. "Nani?" He shove his face closer to me.

"Iiee" I nods, smirking.

Dai shove back, "Really?"

"Hai..."

"Demo... you were chuckling." Dai chuckle imitaing an old lady.

I hit the back of his head. "Baka! I don't chuckle like that!" I crossed my arms.

"Eeeethow!" Dai rubs the back of his head. "Gomene!"

"Hmph! You made me angry!" I turn away.

Dai grabs my shoulder, "Come on. Mayu! Don't be mad! It was only a joke.Nee!" Dai shook my shoulder.

I grab a hold of the branch. "Baka! Yamata! Or else, I will fall!" I shook his hand off.

"Ah... Hontonii?" Dai look down the tree. "Well, if you do fall down, you wouldn't be fracture, would you. I mean it's not even that high."

I pouted. "Whatever!"

Dai chuckle. "Gomene nee!" Dai pleaded with both hands together.

I couldn't help but accept his apologies. "Fine!"

"Yabadii!" Dai let out a relief.

"Demo, I'm still mad!"

Dai shrugs, "As long as you accepted my apology."

I gave him a glare.

"Nani?" He pinched my cheeks. "Don't make that face will you? It's not kawaii.."

"Eh! Yama!" I pull his hands off my cheeks.

He chuckle.

I imitated his chuckle with a deep voice.

He chuckle even louder. "What are you imtating?"

"An old man..." I told him.

"That sounds like Uncle Fret." Dai smirks.

"Hontonii?" I said, disapointed.

He nods.

"Ah... gomene..." I looks away, pitted.

"Come on. That face is not even cuter!" Dai blurted.

"Nee, Mayu. Look." Dai pointed straight ahead of me.

The view of the bright  blue clear sky, the hills covered in green among them were dandelions, and the soothing wind blowing through.

"Wow!!! Pretty!" I blurted. I smile at Dai.

He showed a smile also. "Do you like it?"

I nods. I look back at the view. I never knew that a view like this exist in a country side like this.

"If only I could stay here forever... and watch this view..." Dai said, almost like a whisper.

I turn back at him. Looking at him hard.

His face had saden....

"with you..." he turn.

Drip... Dripping down his cheeks were... tears?

"Dai.... Daijobu desu?"

He smile this time weakly. "You forgotten 'ka' at the end." He patted my head.

A long silence broke between us.

"Nee..." Dai said.

"Sayonara..."

Though i did posted that i would update this after im done with 'It wasn't my Intention'....

p.s. in this flash back, mayu is 10 and daiki is 13... just to clear up why they're acting a bit childish.
