the day after the turmoil that haunted jiyong
and his class, to everyone's surprise,
everything was back to normal, including
chaerin.


she was the first in class, eager to take the
edge off from what happened. ever ready to
resolve the situation she's been in, to
alleviate the worry she brought upon her
classmates, and of course, relieve jiyong from
his stress. she's sure what happened took a toll
from her bestfriend.


next to her, the bubbly dara came in. only this
time her eyes wide open, as if she saw a ghost.
chae closed dara's gaping jaw, by pushing her
chin up. before chae retreats her hand, dara
held onto it, proving chae's presence, calming
her own nerves.


seeing that dara is still bewildered, chaerin
started explaining what happened. as she
continued telling her story, dara's natural
bubbliness gradually came to surface. inch by
inch her smile grew. by the time that her
spirits were completely uplifted, their
classmates had already filled in their
classroom.


dara got too excited and asked chae if she can
spread the news for her. she approved, to her
delight, since she's still a little bit tired
from yesterday's ordeal. yet she insisted she'd
like to attend school, so she can clear the
misunderstanding looming their class, and see
jiyong. as much as ji was concerned about her,
she was worried about ji too.


ten minutes before the first class starts, the
last person to arrive was jiyong. still dreary
and lifeless, he was dragging himself to his
seat. his aunt suggested he skip classes today,
since he was so restless the day before. but he
wanted to go to class, for he knows this is the
only way to hear some information about
chaerin's status.


some angelic voice started singing: you are my
chushine, my only chushine... (^0^)
he stood frozen where he was, everything became
slow motion, as he lifted up his head, mouth
half open and gawked.
the voice continued: you make me happy, when
skies are grey...
he felt his whole body shaking, every thread of
his muscle electrified, as their eyes meet and
he ran (like how he ran in blue jk) swiftly
towards his peace. he was welcomed by the warmth
of chae's embrace. there he was invigorated, he
felt cozy at the same time blissful. (^0^)


while crying she tried finishing their song: you
never know dear, how much i love chu..
but jiyong wrapped it up for her: please don't
take my chushine EVER away..
they wiped each other's tears, smiling. (^0^)
