Narrator’s POV

“Noona, just take a leave, you’re still sick.” Tao chided as they went down.

“I’m fine, I’m sure my cold will go away in two days time.”

“Yeah, right.” Tao rolled his eyes.

“I’m going to be okay, really.” Jooyoung said as they went out of the house.

“Just take care, okay?”

Jooyoung nodded and hugged her brother goodbye.

She sighed as she got in the plane. Ever since Kris’s…..very honest confession, she felt…burdened by it. It’s not that she doesn’t like him, but she felt like something was stopping her and it felt so wrong. She didn’t like the thing with Suho to happen again. She doesn’t even want to go home just to avoid the awkwardness.

Kris’s POV

I saw a plane pass by, I relaxed on my office chair.

I hope she’s safe. I smiled as I remember the time I held her hand at the amusement park. And the time she called me my full name.

“Hyung, it’s time for the meeting, why are you so late?”

Chen was standing by my door with a bored expression. Then he noticed the plane. He grinned.

“Jooyoung noona will be back soon, Ge. So just wait.” He rolled his eyes and went away.

“Ya!”

Your POV

I stepped out of the airport and took a deep breath. I missed China.

I rode a taxi to our house in Beijing, I wonder if butler Yi is still there.

I checked the time, it was already 5 PM, is someone even at home?

“Young miss, welcome back. It’s been such a long time.”

“Yes, it is. Is everything okay here? How about you Yi?”

“Yes, we are all fine, thank you for your concern, miss Shan Shan.”

I grinned as he led me back to my room.

“What about the young master?”

“He’s back in Seoul, its just me now.”

“How long will you be staying, miss?”

“I’ll be flying back next Monday.”

 The door closed and I sat on the couch. I admit, I am kind of avoiding Korea right now. Tao doesn’t even know I am here. I cant do it, its just so…..awkward, I mean, Kris was always there, yes. But I always saw him as a friend, well he does occasionally make me nervous, but~

I sighed and plopped down.

“WHY?!”

I heard my phone ring. I grabbed the device and looked at the screen.

TAO

“…Hello?”

“Ya! Where are you?”

“I’m at home~”

“You’re not!”

“~in Beijing.”

The line grew silent.

“Edison?”

“Why are you there?”

“Hmmmm, I was too tired to fly back and I wanted to visit~”

“Lie better, noona.”

I sighed.

“Don’t worry about it, I’ll be back next week, I’ll bring a Beijing duck for you.”

“Are you…..having troubles?”

“Not really, but I just need some time alone. You understand me, right?”

“Arasso, joshimhae noona. (Take care.)”

I lied down again, this time I sneezed, seriously, my cold, I think is just getting worse.

This is too much. I feel exhausted nursing a cold.

Am I just using my cold so that I wont go home?

Aniya, I just want to take a rest and I’ll fly back next week. It’s going to be fine.
