(A/N) You could think of Krystal as f(x)'s Krystal. I just chose a random girl group member! Hahah, but yes, Kai and Chanyeol are in EXO. Just... not in this story. They're complete strangers! Hope I didn't confuse you too much?
You and Kai were the best of friends. "Are you two siblings?" That's the question you guys got asked the most. "Oh, no we're best friends," is what you guys always replied to that question. You've known each other since you were 2 years old, and he was 3. And, when you were both 6 years old, you promised each other that you would marry one another. Even had the Ring Pops to show the commitment, like a promise ring. Everything was perfect until, you had to move to the United States when you were 8. It's been almost 10 years.. Can't wait to see him again!

Kai's POV:
I walked into the cafe. I remember I used to go here with Krystal and her mom all the time. I wonder if Krystal even remembers me... Shut up, you idiot. She's away in the U.S. You need to get over her.
The thing is.. I can't. I've been hopelessly in love with her ever since she gave me that peck on the lips.. My first kiss. When we 'tied the knot'. I know, we were, like 6 years old. Krystal, I remain hopelessly in love with you..
And, it's true. I've tried seeing other girls.. They didn't make my heart beat nearly as fast as when I would think about Krystal.
I was still waiting in line. It was my turn at the register and I ordered the usual. Hot chocolate with cinnamon and extra whipped cream. That's what I had when I first came here. With Krystal. I took out my wallet and paid the price. I turned around, and was about to wait off to the side for my order. I turned around too swiftly and bumped into the customer behind me. I shyly bowed and apologized sheepishly. As I straightened up, I looked at the person I bumped into. And, my heart skipped a beat.
"Krystal?"
