( this is going to be a really important song for the story)

sorry that it isn't an kpop song but i wanted a song with lyrics that made perfectly sense. i know that korean songs also have beautifull lyrics but if you translate them then there is always something missing. it just doesn't feel the same as an all english song. so i picked this song,

My little sister jumped up my bed.

'' What is it?'' I grumbled. '' I am sleeping''

‘‘That’s why I am here!'' she said.

I looked on my alarm clock. It was 6 am.

I sighed.

‘‘It’s six in the morning I don't need to wake up yet.'' I said to her.

'' But it's already light outside.'' she said and pouted.

'' Fine I’ll be downstairs in 5 minutes.'' I said.

'' Yeeeeey!!!!'' she cheered and left my room again I think to wake up mom and dad.

I stepped out of bed and changed into my uniform for school.

After that I walked downstairs. Surprisingly a warm, sweet and delicious smell came from the kitchen.

My little can't cook so mom and dad are already awake and making breakfast.

*people what is wrong with you it's 6 in the morning * I though.

I walked into the kitchen. 

‘’ good morning.’’ I said.

Mom and dad where both busy with making breakfast.

‘’ oh Minhyun you’re already awake.’’ Mom said. ‘’ good morning.’’

‘’ good morning.’’ Said dad.

‘’ why is everyone up so early in the morning?’’ I asked.

Mom and dad both looked my little sister.

I chuckled. Of course. My little sister would always wake up early in the morning. She then made sure the whole house was also awake. It’s quite frustrating.

‘’ because we have a lot of time this morning we decided to eat pancakes in the morning.’’ Said dad.

‘’ do you also want some?’’ mom asked.

‘’ pancakes!’’ I smile crept up my face. ‘’ do you really have to ask?’’

‘’ I take that as a yes.’’ Said mom.

Though we don’t have a lot of money our family is rich in something else then money. Our family truly loves each other but still money is slowly becoming an issue in the family and I don’t want to let money ruin our family so I promised myself and my family that I would become a famous artist and earn a lot of money.  Because there no money for lesson I learned piano, guitar and singing all by myself and found myself being quite good at it. I even got asked to sing in a café as a part-time job. My dream is getting closer by the day.

That evening. I was singing at the café. It was a busy Thursday evening. I first sang a white day song though it wasn’t white day today. People always ask me to sing this song so this short version off the song became my opening song. Every evening I would sing this song before I really start. Now it was time for the next song. I decided to sing a new song today. It was a song I really love it was a song that I would sing for my little sister if she was sad, hurt or afraid and every time I sang it for her she would always curl up next me and her tears and fear is washed away by my voice. It’s all because off this song I started my dream in the first place. It was all because off a promise to my little sister.

‘’Minhyun?’’ she whispered. ‘’ why do you only sing for me?’’

‘’ because you are the only one who needs it.’’ I said to her.

‘’ that’s not true.’’ She said. ‘’ I know that there are other people out there why would love to hear you sing. I bet they even would want to pay just to hear your voice!’’

‘’ you think?’’ I said.

‘’ yes!’’ she said. ‘’ and all those people’s worries and sadness would just disappear and they all would live a happy life!’’

‘’ you really think I can make people happy just by singing?’’  I asked her.

‘’ yes.’’ She said. ‘’ you’re at least going to try to make people happy, right?’’

‘’ by singing?’’ I asked. ‘’ I’ll try.’’

‘’ you need to promise me!’’ she said.

‘’ I promise.’’

Later the money issue came in my life and the promise became more important.

‘’FOCUS MINHYUN FOCUS!’’ I said to myself. ‘’ you have a song to perform.

Before I walked back to the microphone. I pulled my clock necklace out off my pocket. The time didn’t matter for me. This clock was actually a medallion with a clock to hide the inner heart. I turned the six off the clock until it was a nine and the medallion gave a small click and opened. In the heart off the medallion was the most beautiful picture I had off my family I smiled at it. That photo was really important for me because we all look so happy on it. I wish we could stay forever like this. That the time would stop and we would be happy forever. Ironic that I kept it hidden behind a clock don’t you think. I closed the medallion again and put it back into my pocket.

I grabbed my guitar and started singing and playing.

I saw a bunch of girls in the back off the café whispering to each other, and where pointing to me. All their faces where filled with joy.

An old couple slowly sipping from there afternoon coffee looked at me with a happy smile on their face.

A little family looked up from there afternoon snack and smiled at me.

All those smiles made me happy.

I got almost all the people there attention. Young and old all of them where lost in my voice.

At the end of the song a loud applause went through the café. I made a polite bow. And went off the little stage.

Some weird guy came walking up to me.

‘’ can I ask you r name’’ he asked.

‘’ it’s Minhyun.’’ I said.

‘’ you really have a beautiful voice.’’ He said to me.

‘’ thank you I said.’’

‘’ you know I am looking for some good singers to perform for a coming concert.’’ He said and offered me a little card.

‘’ are you serious.’’ I said.

I looked onto the card. There wasn’t much information on it. But it was enough to give me hope.

‘’ yes’’ he said.’’ If you can walk with for a moment.’’

I followed him to seat in the café where he had been before he came to me.

‘’ you only need to sign this paper for Me.’’ he said.

I couldn’t believe that my dream was going to be true. I was going to perform on a big stage.

‘’ at the concert there are going to be a lot off famous company owners if you leave a good expression you can have a beautiful future ahead of you.’’ He said and smiled at me.

Without thinking I signed the contract I only had my dream with was now in the palms off my hand in my mind. After I signed the contract he looked it over.

‘’ thank you for signing.’’ he said ‘’ I will be collecting the money off you next week, see you then.’’ and he stood up ready to leave.

‘’ wait!’’ I yelled. ‘’ money? What money?’’

‘’ the money you need to pay for joining the concert of course. ‘’ he said still smiling. ‘’ it’s 10.000.’’

‘’ but I don’t have any money.’’ I said.

He shrugged.

‘’ no money no concert.’’ He said. ‘’ you know there are a lot off young man just like yourself who dream of becoming but without money it’s hard to get there. ‘’

‘’ but… but…’’ I stuttered but I hadn’t really anything to say. I just saw my dreaming flying away after I was so close.

‘’ look kid I feel sorry for you really have a lot of talent but I need to money.’’

I sighed there goes my change.

‘’ I will contact you over a week if you by any change have the money I’ll let participate, good luck.’’ Said the man and walked away.

I sighed. There goes my dream.

I ran back to little room for the employees, there was a laptop I could use. I quickly filled in everything they wanted to know about me. Though it took my extra two hours, I knew this would give me enough money if I got selected. A friend of mine signed in last year and got selected. He said he earned. 50.000 IN ONE DAY! Though he never remembered anything off that day he still got the money.

This time I left the café with smile on my face but the smile quickly fell off my face after I stepped outside. It was raining really heavy. I went home as fast as I could. On my way home I heard the thunderstorm rumble in the sky above me. I wandered if my little sister she always is scared to death if it thunders.

The house was silent when I entered it. I sneaked to my room. It was late at night and I didn’t want to wake up anyone.

In my room was a little surprise. My little sister was sobbing on my bed.

‘’ are you alright.’’ I said and placed my hand on her tiny shoulder.

‘’ Minhyun!’’ she cried and wrapped her arms around me.

I softly patted her back.

‘’ where you waiting for me?’’ I asked her.

She nodded her head.

‘’ there is a war outside.’’ She sobbed.

‘’ silly.’’ I said ‘’ it’s not a war it’s just some lighting. Nothing to be afraid off.’’

By the end of the second verse she was sound asleep in my lap. I finished the song before I carefully carried her back to her room. Where I laid her down peaceful sleeping on her bed. I bend and kissed her forward.  

‘’ sweet dreams.’’ I said and went back to my room to also go to sleep.

The next day was just like any other day. Until at school all the phones went off. The whole school was filled with different kind off ringtones. I also looked at my phone. The moment I flipped my phone open an incoming call came in. I answered it.

Hello Minhyun,

You are chosen to participate in our experiment.

‘’ yes!!!’’ I yelled I didn’t care that people looked at me like I had gone crazy.

We will send you a text message with time and location we expect you to be.

I am going to be famous I though.

I waited till I got a text message.

Soon my phone received a text message with said:

Is that the wrong time? No! This is the first test. Then those calls were that also a test. I think so. The experiment had already started.

At the right time I went to the given address.

As soon as I got out off the bus and was facing the huge building before m eyes my phone rang again.

Welcome Minhyun,

You’re smart to figure out that there was nothing wrong with the given time.

I did as they told and went to room 78F. before I opened the door I squeezed the pocket where I had my medallion in. ‘’ I am doing this for all of us.’’ I said. Then I opened the door to the room. The room was empty except one single chair. I sat down on the chair. As soon as I said down the door opened again. But there was no one there.

‘’ that’s strange’’ I thought out loud. I wanted to walk to the door but I felt a stinging pain in the back off my neck and only a second after that my legs where totally numb. I fell to my knees. I felt my whole body go numb and I passed out.

okay so this is chapter 5. this one is totally different then the other 4. while jasmine choice was a desparate action to safe an important person for her. her choice was made with fear of what could happen to her because off rumors about the experiment.

minhyun made the choice rash and without thinking about the consequences. though he doesn't regret the choice. also because off his his friend who was selected last year. who received the money after one day! that gives jasmine and minhyun enough time to get the money.

but i can assure you the experiment isn't done after one day! i think you won't get it untill the end off the story end maybe even then you won't get it. but well the whole experiment is a mystery. only the persons who make the experiment ( in this case me! ) fully understands the experiment. 

but well the story isn't about the persons behind the experiment but in the experiment. and they also don't really know what is happening to them and i want you guys to feel sympathy for the persons in the experiment and i think that will be easier when you know as much as them.
