Our Questions
Chiao's NotebookCrushed by the weight of guilt, looking for ways to make sense of everything. Did we try hard enough? Did we try much too hard?
Fairytales aren't real. Are they?
Everything worked too well. Were we just looking for flaws to appease our fears? Not finding any flaws, did we simply relinquish our power to so-called fate? Did we just decide this must be stopped before it overwhelmed and consumed us both? Did we cowardly say 'let's just be best mates!' because without the flaws, it could never be what we wanted it so desperately to be?
Why must something be flawed to be realistic? Can't we find perfection in imperfection? Can we not be proud of something unique and special?
Is the expression One of A Kind a fallacy, or can such a relationship exist? Clichés. Joined at the hip; like two peas in a pod; two bodies/one soul; soul-mates; two of a kind; twinsies! Can two of a kind become one? Maybe they aren't only clichés.
Can the energy of two such well-matched beings create one ultimate, powerful one of a kind entity without compromising each of the two components?
If such an entity exists, it might be called Destiny, or less esoterically, Love.
"What good is faith if we don't use it?"
