"Hey, Junhyung!"

After his name was called out, Junhyung turned to smile and greet Jonghyun with a high five. "Hey man! How's it going?"

"It's been pretty rough so far..." Jonghyun frowned, receiving an arched eyebrow from the latter.

"Could it be..." Junhyung dramatically gasped. "A girl turned down the Kim Jonghyun?!"

"No!" Jonghyun scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Who could reject this bad boy?" He arrogantly ran his fingers through his multi-colored hair, adding a flirty wink to top it off.

Junhyung pretended to gag, clutching on to his stomach. "Please, do that to someone else."

Jonghyun huffed and crossed his arms. "So, only Hyunseung can turn you on."

"S-shut up!" Junhyung stammered in humiliation, earning laughs from the kingka. His face colored in pink then flushed back to its normal color when he realized Jonghyun's problem. "Could it be what happened four days ago? Key saving Lee Donghae from committing suicide?"

Jonghyun growled, "Yes. How dare he?! Ruining my plans..."

"Looks like a new kingka is in town," Junhyung smirked. He dodged an incoming fist. "Oh, someone is pretty pissed~"

"Shut up. He will never ever take my place, no matter what the hell happens," Jonghyun angrily snarled.

"And what do you want me to do about it, oh so great one?" Junhyung questioned, tilting his head out of curiosity. 

A nasty grin slowly plastered on to Jonghyun's face. "Isn't it obvious? You are the one who helped me spread all those damn rumors. Now, I have a greater task to entrust you."

"Like?"

"Well..." Jonghyun leaned close to Junhyung's ear and whispered something inaudible. Junhyung widened his eyes and stepped away from the kingka, his face written in utter shock.

"Y-you can't be serious?! Did he piss you off that much?!"

"First, he ruins my clothes. Second, he insults me in front of everyone. Third, he doesn't give in when I seduce him, and lastly, he dares to interfere and end a rumor? After all these chances I offered him, he just throws them away like . I am very pissed off."

"O-okay then..." Junhyung gulped. The anger Jonghyun radiated was too immense to ignore. "I'll tell everyone." Junhyung then runs off, leaving the kingka who had a mischievous glint twinkling in his eyes.

"Key, since you dared to mess with me, Kim Jonghyun, I'll be sure to make your life a living hell."

"Key-oppa~"

"You're so brave!"

"Saranghae, oppa!"

Key never experienced such fame before.

And for a firsthand experience, he didn't enjoy it.

He furiously stomped throughout his walk. A pack of bothersome girls were following him like obedient dogs. The diva was with Onew, who looked at Key with a sympathetic feeling. Key was clearly furious for his face was red with anger and his actions were too fierce. When Key couldn't stand it anymore, he whirled around to face the girls, his eyes twitching with exasperation.

"E-excuse me...girls," Key stuttered, trying not to claw the girls to a slow, painful death. "I've gotta go to the bathroom. Onew, come with me!"

"Wha--?"

"I SAID COME WITH ME!" Key yelled out before Onew could react and dragged him away, leaving a bunch of disappointed females bawling their eyes out because Key left them. To make matters worse, he left with a guy.

Key deliberately shoved Onew into the bathroom and Key couldn't help but carelessly fall onto the tiled floor and joyfully scream, "I'M FREE!"

Onew couldn't help but chuckle at Key's adorableness. "Glad you are."

"But seriously, how can those popular douches keep up with girls like them?" Key questioned, sitting right back up.

"Excuse me, but you just indirectly called yourself a popular douche," Onew pointed out sheepishly, unaware of Key's threatening glare.

"Shut up. Anyways," Key attempted to change back to the main subject. "How the hell did I get such girls to stalk me like I'm a god? Didn't they follow Dino Bastard like that?"

Onew delicately raised an eyebrow. "Dino Bastard?"

"Yup. It's my new nickname for Jonghyun. Like it?"

"Yes, very much," Onew jovially beamed. "But I think I have a reason for why girls are starting to worship you."

"Really? Tell me then," Key said, turning his full attention to Onew.

"Well, your bravery from saving Donghae-hyung from death has really been buzzing around school lately. People are shocked, astounded, and awestricken. Students who despise Jong--Dino Bastard really want this kind of kingka in school. People are now contemplating whether they should replace the main kingka position with you."

"...BWOH?!" Key's loud voice rang in the bathroom. His jaws dropped and his eyes widened in such a way that Onew erupted into laughter.

"Haha, Key, you look funny!"

"I am NOT going to become a kingka! Forget that crap!" Key protested.

"Now now, everyone knows you were going to reject it, so we decided not to until you actually give in, which is a very slim chance," Onew explained, causing the latter to let out a relieved sigh.

"Okay, good."

"But," Onew's usual vibrant smile turned into a rare, deep frown. "I have to warn you. Jonghyun may not be as powerful as before, but he is still the main kingka."

"Eh, whatever," Key absently shrugged. "Besides, how can he spread all those rumors by himself when his so-called 'power' is declining? Soon enough they are going to replace him with Minho."

Onew unknowingly stared at the diva for a while before he turned away. Key snapped his usually distracted attention to the leaving figure. "Where you going?"

"I forgot something in my locker. You should go find Kevin," Onew weakly replied before he steps out of the bathroom and into the bustling halls. He reclined his back against the bathroom door and sighed heavily.

"Key, no matter what we tell you, you still can’t notice Jonghyun's true power, can’t you?"

The next day was very peculiar for Key.

Everyone who greeted him with kind and encouraging words the day before were now avoiding him like he was some deathly plague. 

Key roamed through the corridors, the creases on his forehead growing deeper and deeper as many of his fellow classmates stared at him with caution and fear. It wasn't like he did anything wrong...did he?

Key then spotted someone who wouldn't ignore him like the rest. "Mir!" he called out and rushed to Mir, who stiffened when the owner of the familiar voice called him. He turned and gave Key a somewhat apologetic smile. 

"...Key..." Mir mumbled. Key reached his friend and gave him a sweet smile that caused guilt to wash over the latter.

"Mir! Have you seen Onew?" Key questioned. He was unaware of the shocked stares that were sent to Mir and him.

"No," Mir frowned. "He sent me a text. He said he got the flu."

"Oh..." Key sighed in disappointment. "Then how come he didn't text me?"

"He also said that he accidentally deleted your number when he tried to call you," Mir answered. He was brought into a fit of giggles. 

"That idiot!" Key bellowed. "Well, I still have his number, so I'll go text him in the bathroom. Bye!" He then happily walked away, leaving the giggling Mir now laughing bitterly with the utmost guilt.

"Mir!" Thunder, one of Mir's closest friends, approached him. He accusingly pointed a waggling finger at the latter. "What are you doing?"

"I-I..." Mir tried to find the right words, but none came out whatsoever. 

"Look, I know Key is our friend," Thunder said, placing a hand on Mir's shoulder. "But we have to follow what Junhyung sent us or else..."

"I know." Mir's eyes were now b with compassionate tears. "B-but, I can't hurt him. Not like this..." He opened his phone and scrolled through his inbox to spot Junhyung's message. Everyone except Key knew Junhyung's main role in Jonghyun's disgusting plans.

'I'm sorry Key...I'm really sorry...'
