[L.Joe’s PoV]

I groaned as an annoying ringing woke me from the most pleasant dreams I’ve had in a while, I sighed and sat up seeing that whoever had called me before was calling me once again. Glancing around, I realized I wasn’t in my room in the mansion; I stood up and shivered, looking down only to realize that I was . Then last night’s event ran through my head and I looked at the bed to see that the beautiful male was still sleeping on the bed, making me smile widely at him, he really was too beautiful…there is no way I’m going to let the boy go. I kneeled down beside the bed and looked at the beauty’s sleeping face. His eye lashes were long like a girl and his lips were curved into a frown, his eye brows knotted together, making me worry. Was the boy having a night mare?

 I saw his lips move, so I leaned forward listening, trying to hear what he was saying.

“A-appa…” whispered the boy, his voice made it seem like he was in pain, “S-Stop…”

I sat there and looked at him in shock, wondering if he’d say what was going on.

“I-I d-didn’t k-kill her…” whispered the older male, “I-I di-didn’t kill umma…”

I looked at him in shock, his mother was dead?

He whimpered again and said, “Appa, quit it hurts…Appa…stop…It hurts…”

I looked at him in worry as I saw him squirming around in his bed, what the hell was going on?

The next thing I knew was that the older male had tears streaming out of his eyes and he was squirming around, punching the areas around him, he looked like he was struggling against someone. I looked at him horrified by the screams of pain and fear coming out of his mouth. I looked at him in worry and picked up the phone, dialing the number of my family’s personal investigator.

“Hello, L.Joe-sshi, what can I do for you?” asked the man.

“Please do an investigation on Chunji…” I said.

“What’s his real name, because I can’t find anything out about him if we don’t know his real name…” said the man.

“I-I don’t know his real name…” I said, feeling a little down after that, “Could you please look in the gang’s records for the most recent people sold to us, look for his nickname there and I’m positive you’ll find out his real name…”

“I will try sir…” said the man, “I’ll get back to you as soon as I can, alright?”

“Alright, please be checking for any implied abuse, ok?”

“What types of abuse?”

“Any type of abuse…” I said, “Just look for it, ok?”

The man hummed and said, “I will sir, I’ll get to work on it right now.”

“Alright, thank you…” I said, hanging up the phone and looking at the struggling boy beside me whose body became covered in a thin layer of sweat.

 I looked at him sadly, deciding that it’d be best to wake the boy up. I shook him, however, he just began to swing punches in my direction. I looked at him in worry, seeing that he wasn’t waking up. I decided to go with an option I knew as my last resort, hugging him. It might not wake him up, but it could calm him down a bit.

I hugged him tightly seeing that he was now trying to punch me, however, I saw that his punches and actions were slowly beginning to weaken and I knew my calming method was working, I held my breath as he finally stopped struggling. When I pulled away, I noticed I couldn’t, why? His arms were wrapped tightly around my neck and his head was buried in the crook of my neck, making it so that his heated skin was pressed against my cool skin and making it so I could feel the wetness of his tears.

I looked at his peaceful form lying beside me, what had made him act like that? What horrible memories were haunting my slave’s mind, distracting him so that he wouldn’t be dreaming about me?
