Matteo.

 

I was still reeling from the aftermath.

"Armand says I won't live long,but I dream of disagreeing with him.

I wish I could.

If only…"He penned in the letter.

I sat in the corner of my room, discontent with myself and Leo.

He's sick and I'm so far away from him.

I broke down in sobs.

I  couldn't do anything.

I couldn't help him.

He was helpless.

I was helpless

"I don't want you to lose heart, Matteo."He continued."I don't want you to not accept the fact that I will be gone from this world.I do not want you to spend the rest of your life regretting me."

 

 

It was almost around five in the afternoon when I heard the distinct sound of the attic's piano being played.

Renada was at it again.

Ever since the news came she had been cooped up in the attic, taking no notice of me stealing biscuits from her pantry while she was in company with an old, dusty, forgotten piano,playing the same mournful tune again and again.

It simply irked me.

The Loud  Crescendos in her piece and  the sudden eerie change in octaves and dynamics made my skin crawl.

I finally couldn't take it anymore and stormed into the dust filled room.

"Did you like my piece?"

"It was very unnerving and spectral," I said flatly.

"Not very flattering, comin
