Baekhyun spotted Hana at the Xerox machine and greeted her with a friendly smile. "Hi, Hana. Taking Xerox?" he asked casually.Hana nodded in acknowledgment and turned the question back to him, "How about you?"

Baekhyun chuckled and replied, "I haven't seen you in days, so I thought I'd come for a quick chit chat and gather all the juicy gossip."

Hana laughed at his response, playfully saying, "Oh, so you're here to collect tea from me now?" Baekhyun nodded cutely, fully embracing his role as the gossip collector. Hana couldn't help but smile.Baekhyun continued the conversation, asking, "Hana, did you go to SM High School?"

Surprised by the question, Hana nodded and inquired, "How do you know?" Baekhyun shrugged casually and replied, "I thought I had seen you somewhere, and now I remembered. Don't you remember me? I was very famous."

Hana apologised, stating, "I'm sorry, but I don't remember you. I actually saw you in this office for the first time." Baekhyun playfully responded, "Ah, so it was only me who never caught your attention."

Hana laughed and jokingly replied, "I told you I'm sorry, but given your fame and popularity, it wouldn't surprise me if you were famous in high school too." Baekhyun sarcastically thanked her, enjoying their playful banter.

Amidst their lighthearted conversation, Baekhyun couldn't resist teasing Hana about her recent date. With a mischievous smile, he asked, "By the way, how was your date?"

Hana's eyes widened in surprise as she questioned, "How do you know about it?" It had been a few days since Hana's date with Chanyeol, and she hadn't seen Baekhyun during that time.

Baekhyun playfully retorted, "Did you forget that we're best friends?" Hana nodded, realising her oversight, and asked curiously, "Why do you think Chanyeol is acting this way? Lately, he's been so different—nice, gentlemanly, always smiling at me. But before, he used to dislike me. Do you know why he's suddenly changed?"

Baekhyun's mischievous smile grew wider as he replied, "I know you're smart and a genius, but in this matter, I think you're a bit clueless."

Confused, Hana frowned and asked, "What do you mean?" Baekhyun laughed and said, "You'll have to figure it out yourself. I'm sure he's dropped enough hints for you to decipher." Ruffling Hana's hair, Baekhyun bid her farewell and walked away, leaving Hana deep in thought about his enigmatic words.

As Hana pondered over Baekhyun's cryptic comment, her attention was diverted by the sight of Sehun in the distance. She watched as he blocked a girl's path, who Hana recognized as Yeri. Curious, Hana observed their interaction. Sehun seemed to be asking her something, but the girl replied curtly and walked away, leaving Sehun visibly disappointed. Observing Sehun's reaction, Hana couldn't help but think, "Seeing the unbothered king Sehun trying to capture a girl's attention and pouting when he fails... It's quite a surprising sight." Chuckling to herself, Hana shook her head and continued on her way.

Meanwhile, Sehun was feeling dejected after Irene from another department rejected him. He had asked for her number, but she had firmly declined and walked away, leaving Sehun in a pouting state. Just then, Suho appeared on the scene, having witnessed the whole interaction

 Amused, Suho couldn't contain his laughter and commented, "She didn't give you any attention? Well, serve you right." Sehun pouted and rolled his eyes at Suho's response. Suho continued, "You may be the unbothered king, but it seems like she's playing the same game with you."

Sehun implored, "Help me out, Suho. You talk to her, don't you?" Suho smirked and asked, "Why don't you just tell her directly that you like her?" Sehun sighed, revealing his dilemma, "I asked for her phone number, but she denied it. I don't know what she'll do if I propose to her." Suho burst into laughter once again, amused by Sehun's predicament. Sehun pleaded, "Come on, you're my brother. You should help me out."

Suho corrected him, saying, "I'm your cousin, not your brother. And please, don't say it so loudly. We shouldn't let anyone know about this." In the company where they worked, there was a rule against helping family members or relatives join the organisation. However, Suho, being an HR manager, had managed to assist Sehun in securing a position. This company harboured many secrets.

Hana found herself drawn to Chanyeol's office more frequently in recent days. She vividly remembered when he had asked her to work in his office, showing her a desk with a computer and other supplies. At first, she had assumed it was Jennie's desk, but as time went on, everyone in the office became aware of Hana's constant presence in Chanyeol's office. They believed he gave her a heavy workload as a way to get back at her, thinking that he disliked her. Unbeknownst to them, that was far from the truth.

There was something about his presence that made her feel comfortable and secure, though she couldn't quite comprehend these newfound emotions.

Lost in her thoughts, Hana suddenly heard the familiar sound of the clock chiming, indicating lunchtime. She stood up and approached Chanyeol, seeking his permission to take her lunch break.

Chanyeol smiled and remarked, "You must've worked hard, right?" Rising from his chair, he walked toward Hana. Hana reciprocated the smile, feeling her nerves tingling. Chanyeol playfully ruffled her hair, causing her heart to race even faster. Hana's words seemed to escape her, and she remained speechless in his presence. The close proximity between them intensified her nervousness, and she swallowed anxiously. Concern crossed Chanyeol's face as he realised his actions might have affected her hair.

"Oh, I think I messed up your hairstyle," he said. Chanyeol began to fix Hana's hair, and she could only marvel at his attentiveness. She wanted to say something, anything, but the words were trapped within her. She felt utterly defenceless when he did these small gestures. And as he tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, Chanyeol whispered, "You are too cute." Hana's blush deepened, uncontrollable even if she wished otherwise. She hoped that he hadn't noticed her embarrassment, but deep down, she knew he had, as his chuckle filled the air.

Just as the tension between them grew, the door suddenly swung open, revealing Baekhyun. Startled, he quickly closed the door, assuming that he had interrupted an intimate moment between Hana and Chanyeol. The way they were standing, anyone would have drawn the same conclusion. Hana's heart raced wildly, feeling as if it would burst from her chest. Chanyeol's adoring gaze remained fixed on her, and his smile widened. In her overwhelmed state, Hana couldn't help but wonder, "Why am I feeling this way? Am I sick?"
