Plot: Attorney Winter Kim woke up one day and Doctor Karina claimed to be her wife. But she doesn't even remember getting married!
“All rise, the court is now in session with the Honorable Judge Catherine Seo, presiding judge.”
‘For arraignment: Criminal Case No. 1#####-D People of the Philippines v. Kim Jongin for violation of Republic Act No. 9262.’
“Your honor, I am Prosecutor Winter Kim appearing as Public Prosecutor for the government..”
She was watching herself as she interrogate a witness na may wavy hair ngunit sobrang liwanag. Everything sounded gibberish to her ears.
It was as if nandoon siya ngunit wala din.
Like it was only her spirit alive, but her body was moving on its own accord. She saw a smirk plastered on her lips and she gave a confident smile to someone on the other side of the room. She can only make out the black healthy hair dahil natatakluban ito ng broad shoulder ng agitated na poging lalaki na matangkad.
“Objection, your honor!” depensa ng attorney ng lalaki.
JUDGE: What is the ground for your objection?
“The question is immaterial.”
JUDGE: Objection overruled. The witness may answer.
“As we can see on the medical certificate here that you signed, it’s clear that my client suffered physical abuse from the defendant, Mr. Kim Jong In…”
She recognizes herself but it feels like everything is out of her control.
Parang andun siya na wala. Naguguluhan ang utak niya. For some reason, malakas ang kabog ng dibdib niya.
“We have now heard arguments from both sides in the case of People of the Philippines vs Kim. I must now decide if the State has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty of the violation of Sec. 5(i) of RA 9262.”
“Order in court!”
–
Beep. Beep. Beep.
She blinked to adjust her eyesight from the light outside refl
