Dahyun had just stepped out of her last class for the day, a sigh of relief escaping her lips. As she made her way down the hallway, she couldn't help but notice the throbbing pain in her ankle. She had slipped and fallen at the restaurant the previous day, and her ankle was still a little sore.

Walking had become a bit of a challenge, and she was moving rather awkwardly. Students passed her by, giving her curious glances, but she just kept her head down and focused on getting to the university pool.

As Dahyun continued to hobble down the hallway, lost in thought, she suddenly bumped into someone. Looking up, she saw that it was Jennie, one of her teammates on the university swimming team.

"Hey, watch where you're going," Jennie said with a grin, before noticing Dahyun's awkward gait. "What happened to your foot?"

Dahyun hesitated for a moment, not wanting to draw attention to her injury. "Oh, it's nothing," she said, trying to brush it off.

Jennie didn't seem convinced. "Are you sure? Can you still come to practice?"

Dahyun bit her lip. She had been looking forward to swimming all day, but now she wasn't sure if she would be able to keep up with the rest of the team.

"I'll be fine," she said with a forced smile, not wanting to let her teammates down.

Jennie still looked worried, but she didn't press the matter any further. "Okay, if you say so."

Dahyun looked at Jennie, feeling a sudden sense of camaraderie. "Hey, do you want to walk together to practice?" she asked, hoping to distract Jennie from her worries.

Jennie smiled gratefully. "Yeah, that sounds great. Thanks, Dahyun."

As they walked towards the pool, Jennie started talking about the upcoming semi-finals. "I heard the team we're clashing with is really good. I'm worried we won't be able to keep up."

Dahyun listened to Jennie's worries and nodded in understanding. "Yeah, I heard that too. But I think we should really take our practice seriously and give it our all. We have to make sure we're fully prepared for the semi-finals," she said, trying to sound confident.

Jennie nodded in agreement. "You're right. We can't let our guard down now. We have to work hard and give it our best shot. I really hope we win," she said, determination shining in her eyes.

Dahyun smiled at Jennie's optimism. "We will win, Jennie. We just have to believe in ourselves and our abilities," she said, trying to encourage her teammate.

Jennie's face brightened up a little at Dahyun's words. "Yeah, you're right. We just have to believe in ourselves," she said, sounding a little more hopeful.

Dahyun nodded, glad that she could make Jennie feel a little better. "So, who are we going up against?" she asked, curious.

Jennie's expression turned serious again. "We're going up against Moonbyul, Solar, Wheein, and Hwasa. They won in their university and became qualified to advance to the semi-finals," she said, her tone indicating that she knew they were up against a tough team.

Dahyun felt a sting of nervousness in her chest at the mention of Moonbyul's name. She knew the girl well, as they both performed the freestyle in the swimming medley relay. They had always had a close fight whenever they were up against each other, and Dahyun knew just how good she was.

"Moonbyul is really tough," she said, her voice tinged with apprehension. "She's a great swimmer, and we're going to have to bring our A-game if we want to beat her and her team."

Sana was gathering her books and putting them in her bag when Miyeon came up to her. Sana looked up and smiled at her classmate, who held out a pen.

"Hey, Sana. Thank you so much for letting me borrow your pen earlier," Miyeon said, her voice filled with gratitude.

Sana took the pen and smiled. "No problem at all, Miyeon. You're welcome," she said, happy to have been of help.

Miyeon noticed that Sana was still packing her bag and asked, "So, where are you headed after this class?"

Before Sana could answer, Miyeon continued, "I'll be attending swimming practice today. The semi-final for the local competition is upcoming."

Sana's eyes lit up at the mention of the swimming practice. "Actually, I'm planning on watching your practice today," she said with a smile.

Miyeon looked surprised. "Really? I didn't know that. That's so cool!" she said, her face lighting up.

Sana nodded, feeling happy that Miyeon was excited. "Yeah, I've been meaning to come and watch for a while now. I just know your team is really good," she said, admiringly.

Miyeon blushed, feeling proud of her team. "Thank you! We've been practicing really hard for the semi-finals," she said.

Sana smiled. "I can imagine. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be a competitive swimmer," she said, impressed.

Miyeon nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it does. Do you want to walk together to the pool?" she asked, gesturing towards the door.

Sana smiled and shouldered her bag. "Sure, I'd love to," she said, falling into step beside Miyeon.

While they were walking, Miyeon caught sight of Chaeyoung walking a few steps behind Sana. "Hey Chaeyoung, do you want to come and watch our practice too?" she asked, turning to her.

Chaeyoung looked hesitant. "Oh, I can't today. I still have a lot of homework to catch up on," she said, looking down at her books.

Miyeon nodded, but she couldn't help feeling a little puzzled. It seemed like Chaeyoung was always busy whenever it came to anything related to swimming. However, she shrugged it off and continued walking with Sana.

Dahyun was in the middle of doing arm stretches with Jennie and Mina when she saw Miyeon walk in with Sana. She couldn't help but feel a pang of heartbreak as she saw them walking side by side, chatting and laughing.

She tried to push the feeling aside and focus on the stretching exercises, but she couldn't help stealing glances at Sana and Miyeon every now and then. It was clear that they were getting along well, and it made Dahyun feel a little left out.

Jennie and Mina noticed that something was bothering Dahyun and asked her if everything was okay. Dahyun shook her head, not wanting to burden them with her feelings.

Miyeon noticed how Dahyun's expression had changed, and she suddenly realized that she had been acting a little too friendly with Sana in front of Dahyun. She mentally chided herself for not being more aware of her friend's feelings.

Feeling guilty, Miyeon walked over to Dahyun and said, "Hey, Dahyun, how are things going?"

"All is well, Miyeon," Dahyun said, trying to sound nonchalant.

Miyeon could tell that Dahyun was putting up a brave front, and she knew that it was her fault for not being more considerate. She made a mental note to be more aware of how she acted around Sana in the future, especially when Dahyun was around.

As the group continued with their stretching exercises, Miyeon couldn't help feeling a little awkward around Sana. She didn't want to make Dahyun feel any more uncomfortable, so she kept her interactions with Sana to a minimum.

As Sana walked towards the group, she noticed that Dahyun seemed to be ignoring her presence. Mina and Jennie greeted her happily, but Dahyun didn't even look her way. Sana couldn't help but feel a little confused and hurt by Dahyun's behavior.

She wondered if she had done something wrong, but she couldn't recall anything that might have caused Dahyun to act this way. Perhaps Dahyun was just not in a good mood today, Sana thought to herself.

Sana decided to settle down on a nearby bench and watched as Mina, Jennie, Miyeon, and Dahyun finished up their stretching exercises. As soon as Dahyun finished her stretches and walked over to her bag to grab her water bottle. Sana decided to approach her and ask if everything was okay.

"Hey, Dahyun. Are you feeling alright?" Sana asked, concerned.

Dahyun looked up at Sana, surprised by the sudden question. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine," she said, although her voice sounded a little strained. "I need to get ready for the swimming practice. It's about to start," she said, avoiding eye contact with Sana.

As Dahyun left, Sana couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. She was still wondering what had caused Dahyun to act so distant towards her. She knew that something was wrong, but she decided to let it go for now and watch the practice, hoping that everything would be okay between them later.

The swimming coach finally arrived, and the girls greeted him with enthusiasm. He quickly got to work, leading the practice, and giving the girls instructions on what to do.

"Alright, let's get started with some warm-up laps," he said, motioning for Miyeon to take her place on the starting block.

Miyeon took a deep breath, positioning herself for the dive. Her body tensed for a moment before she launched herself off the block and into the water. She cut through the surface with ease, her arms and legs working in perfect synchrony as she powered through the water.

Sana watched in amazement as Miyeon's unmatched skills in swimming were on full display. It was clear that Miyeon was a natural, effortlessly gliding through the water as if she were born to do it. After Miyeon completed her laps, the coach gave her some pointers on how to improve her technique.

Dahyun couldn't help but notice Sana's eyes sparkling with amazement. It made her feel a twinge of jealousy, knowing that Sana was impressed by Miyeon's skills. She silently vowed to herself that she would do even better than Miyeon, determined to get Sana's attention on her.

Jennie stepped up next, taking a few deep breaths to steady
