Dahyun waited anxiously outside of Sana's last class of the day, fidgeting with the strap of her backpack. She was determined to ask Sana to come to Sunghoon's basketball game with her, but she couldn't shake off her nerves.

As the time approached 4pm, Dahyun took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. She straightened her backpack and stood up straight, ready to make her move.

Finally, the door to Sana's classroom opened, and the students began pouring out. Dahyun scanned the crowd for Sana, her heart racing. She spotted the girl's familiar face in the sea of students, and she made her way over to her.

As Sana, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu were discussing their group project, someone suddenly approached them from behind. Sana turned around and saw Dahyun standing there, looking nervous but determined.

"Hey, uh," Dahyun said, a hint of shyness in her voice.

Sana, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu all turned to look at Dahyun, curious about what she wanted to say. Dahyun took a deep breath, gathering her courage. "I was wondering if you wanted to come watch Sunghoon's basketball game with me next week," she said, a hopeful expression on her face.

Before any of them could reply, the door behind them opened, and Miyeon emerged from the classroom. "Hey, Dahyun!" she greeted, smiling warmly at the group.

Dahyun turned to Miyeon, feeling slightly flustered. "Hi...Miyeon. How are you?" she asked, trying to compose herself.

Miyeon shrugged nonchalantly. "I'm good. Just had a quiz in our last class, but it wasn't too bad," she replied.

Sana's face lit up with a smile upon seeing Miyeon. "Hey, Miyeon! Wanna come with us? We're walking out of the university together," she said, her tone cheerful.

Dahyun couldn't help but notice how happy Sana seemed to see Miyeon, and she felt a spasm of sadness in her chest. She wondered if Sana had any romantic feelings for Miyeon, but she quickly pushed the thought aside. She didn't want to jump to conclusions, although it could be obvious.

Miyeon smiled and nodded in agreement. "Sure, I'd love to come with you guys," she said.

Sana turned back to Dahyun, still with a smile on her face. "Um, what did you ask again?" she asked, curious.

Dahyun's heart skipped a beat, and she felt a lump forming in . She panicked a bit, and her words tangled. "I, uh, actually...I was wondering if Tzuyu would like to come with me to the game?"

Tzuyu looked hesitant, but after a moment, she nodded. "Yeah, sure. I haven't been to a basketball game in a while, so that sounds like fun," she said.

Sana felt a pang of jealousy, realizing that Dahyun had asked Tzuyu instead of her. She had been hoping that Dahyun would ask her to the game, but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen.

Dahyun smiled at Tzuyu. "Awesome, let's plan on meeting up at the stadium at 6 pm next week then. We can grab some food and talk about the game," she suggested.

Tzuyu nodded in agreement. "Sounds good to me," she said.

Chaeyoung looked between the three of them, feeling completely lost. She had no idea what was going on or why Sana seemed upset. "Wait, what's happening? Why do I feel like I missed something?" she asked, confused.

Miyeon let out a small laugh at Chaeyoung's expression. "Don't worry, Chaeyoung. It's just a basketball game," she reassured her friend.

Meanwhile, Dahyun turned to Tzuyu, her expression serious. "Hey, Tzuyu, can I talk to you for a sec? In private?" she asked, gesturing to a nearby corner of the hallway.

Tzuyu furrowed her brow, feeling a bit concerned. "Yeah, sure," she said, following Dahyun to the corner.

Once they were alone, Dahyun took a deep breath and looked at Tzuyu. "Look, I just wanted to say that I hope you're not getting flustered by the sudden invitation. I know it might have seemed a little out of the blue," she began.

Tzuyu shook her head. "No, it's fine. I'm actually looking forward to it," she said, trying to reassure Dahyun.

Dahyun smiled gratefully. "Thanks, Tzuyu. I just wanted to be honest with you. I was actually planning on asking Sana to come with me, but I got scared of rejection," she admitted, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Tzuyu nodded understandingly. "It's okay, I get it. Rejection can be scary," she said.

As they walked out of the university, Chaeyoung, and Miyeon noticed the pensive look on Sana's face. "Is everything okay, Sana? You seem a bit down," Chaeyoung asked, concerned.

Sana forced a smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's nothing, really," she replied, hoping they wouldn't press further.

Miyeon and Chaeyoung exchanged a knowing look. They could tell that something was bothering Sana, but they didn't want to push her too hard. "Okay, if you say so," Miyeon said, dropping the subject.

Chaeyoung perked up, trying to lighten the mood. "Hey, do you guys want to get some ice cream? There's a new place that just opened up down the street," she suggested.

Sana smiled, feeling grateful for her friends. "Sure, that sounds great," she said, happy to have something to distract her from her thoughts.

As they walked into the ice cream parlor, Chaeyoung quickly made her way to the counter to order her favorite: a strawberry ice cream. Meanwhile, Miyeon browsed through the menu, looking for something a little more unusual.

"I think I'm going to try the black sesame ice cream," Miyeon announced, glancing at Sana and Chaeyoung for their reactions.

Sana looked intrigued, while Chaeyoung seemed a little skeptical. "Are you sure about that? It sounds a little weird," Chaeyoung said.

Miyeon nodded confidently. "Yeah, I've heard it's really good. I want to try something new," she said.

As they waited for their ice cream, Sana couldn't resist trying a spoonful of Miyeon's black sesame ice cream. She savored the unique flavor, the nutty taste combining perfectly with the sweetness of the ice cream.

"That's actually really good," Sana said, impressed. Chaeyoung, still unsure, decided to stick with her strawberry ice cream.

Sana looked at the menu board, feeling a bit adventurous. "You know what? I'll try something unusual too," she said, grinning mischievously.

Miyeon raised an eyebrow, curious to see what Sana would order. Sana looked at the menu board again and pointed to a flavor called "wasabi ginger". Miyeon couldn't help but burst out laughing at Sana's choice.

Sana grinned at Miyeon's reaction, feeling pleased with herself. "What? I like spicy things," she said.

Chaeyoung shook her head at the two girls' weirdness. "You two are probably soulmates or something," she said jokingly.

The three of them sat down at a nearby table, enjoying their ice creams and chatting about their day. Sana tried the wasabi ginger flavor and, to her surprise, actually enjoyed it. She even ended up getting another scoop for herself.

As they finished their ice creams, Chaeyoung suggested that they walk back and around the campus a bit before heading home. Miyeon and Sana agreed, and the three of them set off, feeling happy and content.

As they walked, the three friends fell into an awkward silence. Miyeon, feeling the need to break it, turned to Chaeyoung. "Hey, Chaeyoung, can I ask you something?" she asked, her voice tentative.

Chaeyoung's heart skipped a beat, sensing that the conversation was about to take a turn. "Sure, what is it?" she replied, trying to sound casual.

Miyeon hesitated for a moment before asking, "Why didn't you come to watch my swimming competition last week?" Her tone was gentle, but Chaeyoung could sense the underlying hurt.

Chaeyoung hesitated for a moment before answering. "I had a lot of assignments that were past due, and I needed to work on them," she said, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

Miyeon nodded slowly, her expression softening. "Oh, I see. That's understandable," she said, her voice lacking any hint of anger or disappointment.

Chaeyoung let out a sigh of relief, grateful that her friend wasn't angry with her. "Yeah, sorry about that. I should have told you earlier," she said, feeling guilty.

Miyeon shook her head. "It's okay, Chaeyoung. Don't worry about it," she said, offering a small smile.

As they continued walking, Sana, Miyeon, and Chaeyoung suddenly bumped into Jeongyeon, Nayeon, Momo, and Jihyo, who were walking in the opposite direction. "Oh, hey guys!" Jeongyeon greeted them with a teasing look in her eyes.

Sana felt her cheeks flush as she stood next to Miyeon. She knew exactly what Jeongyeon was thinking, and she didn't want her to say anything weird. With a glare, Sana silently communicated to Jeongyeon that she shouldn't say anything.

Jeongyeon chuckled at Sana's reaction but didn't say anything. "What are you guys up to?" she asked instead, trying to change the subject.

Miyeon checked her phone and let out a sigh. "I just received a text from my mom. She's asking me to pick up some groceries for dinner tonight," she said, looking apologetic.

Chaeyoung nodded in understanding, while Sana looked a bit disappointed. Before Miyeon could leave, she turned to Sana and asked, "Hey, Sana, do you want to come with me? It won't take long."

Sana's eyes lit up with excitement. "Sure, I'd love to!" she replied eagerly.

Jeongyeon, Nayeon, and Momo couldn't help but hold back their teasing, smirking at Sana and Miyeon. But they didn't say anything, knowing that it would only embarrass Sana more.

As Miyeon and Sana walked away, Chaeyoung turned to the three girls, shaking her head. "You guys are terrible," she scolded playfully.

Jihyo couldn't help but laugh as she watched Miyeon and Sana walk away, leaving the rest of them behind. "They've always been like that," she said to Chaeyoung, shaking her head. "You just have to feel sorry for Sana," she added with a chuckle.

"Yeah, they seem pretty close," Chaeyoung commented, trying to join in the light-hearted banter.

Nayeon nodded in agreement with Chaeyoung. "Yeah, they've become really close friends. But they wouldn't even have taken that picture together if it weren't for us," she said with a grin.

Jeongyeon chimed in, "That's right. We saw the potential for something new there, and we had to make it happen."

Momo nodded, adding, "And now they're practically inseparable. We're like matchmakers or something."

Dahyun walked into her house, her shoulders slumped and a feeling of disappointment washing over her. She had failed to ask Sana to the basketball game next week, and now she was regretting it. She couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if she had just gone through with asking the girl instead of asking Tzuyu.

Sighing heavily, Dahyun kicked off her shoes and slumped onto the couch. She ran a hand through her hair, trying to shake off the feeling of regret. She couldn't believe that she had missed her chance with Sana. She had been so close to asking her, but her nerves had gotten the best of her.

As she sat there, lost in her thoughts, Dahyun couldn't help but wonder what Sana would have said if she had asked her. Would she have said yes, or would she have turned her down? Dahyun shook her head, realizing that she would never know the answer.

Dahyun's thoughts were interrupted as her father suddenly walked in, causin
