The host took the microphone and walked to the center of the dance floor. The couples paused their dancing to listen.

"Alright, folks, it's time to find out who the couples of the night are. But before we get started, let me tell you the rules," the host said, grinning at the crowd.

"To win as couples of the night, you need to look intimate, but not very intimate," he continued. "We want to see some chemistry between you two, but nothing that crosses the line. So, show us your best moves and let's see who takes home the prize!"

The couples looked at each other, determined to win the competition. They knew they had to strike the perfect balance between intimacy and restraint to impress the judges. With that in mind, they resumed their dancing, each trying their best to convey the right level of closeness without going too far.

As the couples continued to dance, Jeongyeon and Nayeon seemed to be getting a bit too competitive. They hugged each other tight, swaying back and forth with exaggerated movements. Jihyo and Momo, who were dancing more calmly, couldn't help but laugh at their antics.

"Look at those two, they look so strange," Jihyo giggled, watching as Jeongyeon and Nayeon continued to show off their moves.

Momo nodded in agreement. "They're definitely trying too hard," she said, shaking her head in amusement.

Jeongyeon and Nayeon noticed the two girls laughing at them and grinned, feeling a bit embarrassed but also enjoying the attention. They continued to dance, trying to outdo each other with their exaggerated movements and intense gazes.

Meanwhile, Rosalia and Chaeyoung were dancing a slow dance, but they seemed to be struggling with the right amount of intimacy. They were too shy to get too close, so they kept a small distance between them.

"I don't think we're going to win," Chaeyoung said softly, feeling a bit discouraged.

Rosalia looked at her and smiled. "Maybe getting the award isn't that important after all," she said, trying to lighten the mood.

Chaeyoung chuckled, relieved that Rosalia wasn't taking the competition too seriously. "Yeah, you're right. As long as we're having fun, that's all that matters," she said, feeling more relaxed now.

As Rosalia and Chaeyoung continued their dance, Mina's eyes couldn't help but wander towards them, despite being in the arms of Jennie. Jennie noticed Mina's gaze and asked, "Mina, are you okay?"

Mina hesitated for a moment before nodding, but her eyes betrayed the hurt she was feeling inside. She couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy seeing Chaeyoung, her ex-lover, dancing with a new girl she didn't know about.

Mina closed her eyes, trying to push the memories of Chaeyoung and their past relationship out of her mind. But as the music slowed down and the couples swayed to the rhythm, Mina couldn't help but get lost in a flashback.

She remembered a time when Chaeyoung had asked her to listen to a new song she had written. Mina had been sitting on the couch, scrolling through her phone, when Chaeyoung had walked in with her guitar in hand.

"Hey, Mina, can you listen to my new song? I just finished writing it," Chaeyoung had said, her eyes shining with excitement.

Mina had smiled and put her phone aside, eager to listen to what Chaeyoung had come up with. Chaeyoung had strummed her guitar and started singing an original song she had written just for Mina.

"Every time I see you, I feel like I'm floating on air,

And I just can't help but stare,

Wondering if you'll give me a chance,

To take you out and dance"

Mina had listened intently, her heart fluttering at the thought of Chaeyoung asking her out. She had heard Chaeyoung sing before, and her voice was beautiful, but this one is different, owing to the emotion behind the lyrics.

As the flashback faded, Mina opened her eyes, feeling a sense of nostalgia and sadness wash over her. She wondered what could have been if things had gone differently between her and Chaeyoung.

Sunoo's head was leaning on Sunghoon's broad shoulder as they danced, their bodies swaying together in perfect harmony. Sunoo had his arms wrapped tightly around Sunghoon's waist, while Sunghoon held Sunoo close by hugging him on his lower back. They weren't trying to win any award or compete with anyone; they were just enjoying each other's company and the intimate moment they were sharing.

As they moved to the music, Sunoo felt a sense of comfort and safety being in Sunghoon's arms. He had always found solace in the way Sunghoon held him, and tonight was no different. Sunghoon's embrace was warm and loving, and it made Sunoo feel like he was exactly where he belonged.

Sunghoon, too, was content being with Sunoo. He loved the way Sunoo fit perfectly in his arms, and he never wanted to let go. Sunoo was his everything, and he would do anything to make him happy.

As they continued to dance, Sunghoon whispered in Sunoo's ear, "I'll never let you go, you know. Jay might come and try to steal you away from me."

Sunoo couldn't help but laugh at Sunghoon's silly remark. "Oh, come on, you know Jay is not interested in me like that," he said, shaking his head in amusement.

Sunghoon chuckled, knowing that Sunoo was right. "We don't know that, and I don't want to take any chances," he said, pulling Sunoo even closer to him.

Sunoo smiled, feeling grateful for the love and protection Sunghoon showed him. He knew that he was lucky to have someone like Sunghoon in his life, and he never wanted to let go of him either.

Sunoo leaned back a bit to look around the room and noticed his sister, Dahyun, dancing with Sana. They were swaying together to the music, and Sunoo couldn't help but smile at how sweet and cute they looked together.

"Hey, Sunghoon, look at my sister," Sunoo said, pointing towards Dahyun and Sana.

Sunghoon followed Sunoo's gaze and grinned at the sight. "Aww, they look so adorable together," he said, amused.

Sunoo nodded, feeling happy that his sister had found someone she liked. "Yeah, they do. I'm glad she's enjoying herself tonight," he said, looking back at Sunghoon.

Sunghoon couldn't resist teasing Sunoo a bit and asked, "So, are they dating?"

Sunoo rolled his eyes playfully. "No, they're not. Those two are just dorks who can't seem to feel each other's feelings," he said, shaking his head.

Sunghoon chuckled, understanding what Sunoo meant. "Ah, I see. They're both pretty dense, huh?" he said, grinning.

Sunoo nodded, smiling at the thought of his sister and Sana. "Yeah, they are. But they're still cute together, even if they don't realize it," he said, laughing a bit.

Sunghoon looked at Sunoo with a mischievous grin on his face. "How about us? Are we cute together too?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Sunoo blushed, feeling a bit shy at the question. "Well, I think so," he said softly, looking up at Sunghoon.

Sunghoon's grin turned into a smile as he looked down at Sunoo. "Me too," he said, pulling Sunoo closer to him. "I think we're perfect together."

Miyeon and Tzuyu swayed to the rhythm of the music as they chatted about random and casual things. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the air around them, but they were lost in their own world, enjoying each other's company.

"So, have you seen the latest episode of that new drama?" Miyeon asked Tzuyu, her eyes lighting up with excitement.

Tzuyu shook her head, a small smile on her lips. "No, I haven't had time to watch it. How is it?"

"It's really good! You should definitely check it out when you have some free time," Miyeon said, grinning.

Tzuyu nodded, feeling grateful for the recommendation. "Thanks, I will. So, what have you been up to lately?" she asked, curious to hear what Miyeon had been doing.

Miyeon shrugged, a proud smile on her face. "Oh, just been all about my swimming athlete life," she said, jokingly flexing her arm muscles.

Tzuyu chuckled, knowing how dedicated Miyeon was to her sport. "How's training going?"

"It's going well, thanks for asking. It's tough, but I'm enjoying the challenge," Miyeon replied, a glint of determination in her eyes.

Tzuyu nodded in admiration. "That's great to hear. I admire your dedication to your sport," she said, smiling at her friend.

Miyeon grinned, feeling happy to have Tzuyu's support. "Thanks, Tzuyu. It means a lot," she said, as they continued to dance and enjoy the night together.

Tzuyu suddenly changed the topic and asked, "Hey, do you like Sana?"

Miyeon hesitated for a moment, not really wanting to think about it. "I...I don't know. Sana is amazing, and she would make a pretty good girlfriend," she admitted, her cheeks turning slightly pink.

"But right now, I'm really dedicated to my swimming, and I don't want any distractions. Maybe in the future, if I have more free time, I will consider it," she added, trying to play it safe.

Tzuyu nodded understandingly. "I get it. But honestly, Sana seems to be really interested in Dahyun anyway," she said, grinning mischievously.

Miyeon smiled happily at the mention of Dahyun. "Yeah, she does seem that way, doesn't she? They would make a cute couple," she said, picturing the two of them together.

Miyeon suddenly chuckled. "Honestly, I think I'm more likely to just root for them to end up together than dating Sana myself," she admitted, shrugging. "I'm happy focusing on my swimming for now. But I'll always support my friends and their relationships," she added, smiling warmly at Tzuyu.

Tzuyu grinned back at Miyeon. "That's a good mindset to have. And who knows, maybe you'll find someone special when the time is right," she said, winking playfully.

Miyeon laughed, feeling grateful for Tzuyu's encouragement. "Maybe, we'll see," she said.

As some students were getting in line to grab their food, Dahyun spotted Mina sitting by herself at a table, looking down. Dahyun approached her with a smile and said, "Hey, Mina! Want to dance with me?"

Mina looked up at Dahyun with surprise but quickly regained her composure and smiled back. "Sure, why not," she said, standing up from her chair.

As they moved to the dance floor, Dahyun noticed that Mina seemed a bit down. "Is everything okay, Mina?" she asked, her concern evident in her voice.

Mina nodded, looking a bit tired. "Yeah, it's just that being around a lot of people can be a bit tiring for me," she admitted.

Dahyun nodded in understanding. "I get it. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, especially when you're not feeling your best," she said, placing a comforting hand on Mina's shoulder.

Mina smiled at Dahyun's comforting gesture before changing the subject. "So, how was the dance with Sana?" she asked, trying to lighten the mood.

Dahyun's face immediately turned red, and she started to fidget nervously. "Oh, um, it was really nice," she said, trying to hide her obvious excitement. "But...um, I don't know, Mina. I just feel so...in love with her, you know? Even though it's probably nothing more than just a feeling," she admitted, feeling a bit flustered.

As Dahyun and Mina were lost in their conversation, they were interrupted by a fake cough. They turned to see Sunghoon, Mina's younger brother, standing there with a smile on his face.

"Hey, can I get a dance with my sister?" he asked, holding out his hand to Mina.

Mina grinned and took her brother's hand. "Of course, Sunghoon. Let's dance," she said, turning back to Dahyun. "Thanks for the dance, Dahyun. We'll catch up later, okay?"

Dahyun smiled and nodded, feeling happy for Mina and her brother. "Yeah, of course. Have fun, you two," she said, watching as they moved to the dance floor and started swaying to the music.

Dahyun made her way back to the table where Sana was sitting, noticing that Miyeon was now engrossed in conversation with Sana. Not wanting to interrupt them, Dahyun decided to keep herself busy and got in line for some food.

As she waited in line, she couldn't help but think about her dance with Sana earlier. Her heart raced as she remembered the feeling of Sana's hand in hers and the warmth of her body close to hers. She tried to shake off the feeling, reminding herself that it was just a friendly dance.

Finally, it was her turn to grab some food, and she quickly filled up her plate before making her way back to the table.

As she sat down, Miyeon turned to her with a smile. "Hey, Dahyun. How was the dance with Mina?" she asked.

Dahyun couldn't help but grin as she thought back to her dance with Sana. "It was great, thanks. How about you and Sana? What were you two talking about?" she asked, trying to shift the focus of the conversation away from herself.

Sana smiled at Dahyun. "Oh, just random things. You know, typical stuff," she said with a shrug.

Dahyun nodded, feeling a bit relieved that their conversation wasn't about anything
