A/N to requestee: you don’t know how much I needed to write a wheebyul that is rivalry-esque. It is my dream to write rivals to lovers (TMI but idk how my relationships tend to be like that). So you can trust me on this one, I am a professional. Not at writing, but at being a .
A/N to all: Honestly, I need more wheebyulers loud in my comments, you guys are funny and cute. Also I told myself to rest because I’ve written 30.4k words in one week but I got tired with work today so I wanted to write. Don’t worry guys, I’m not a star, I don’t burn bright and burn out. I’m actually Physics. Because your prompts are the universe and only I can make sense of them (now bask in grease). Also, I am full of bullting and does 0 beta-reading. Read well! You see, despite being a rookie, Wheein knows her . Wheein knows the business, the good, the bad, the ugly– but most importantly, Moon Byulyi.
That is why she’s having a solo drinking session with some obnoxious music from forever ago and the night sky. Rooftop stargazing with nothing but a good glass of gin in the dark has a good feeling to it.
Here’s the thing, she accepted– almost immediately, her first shot at an actual project with big names from the director, the writer, the co-stars– everything and everyone. Really, it is a miracle that she doesn’t have to do some obnoxious ad about milk or a lipstick that doesn’t match her.
She didn’t really think too much when she auditioned for the role. Her agent got her one, she auditions and goes to her part time job, forgets about said audition, does not get an email ever– rinse and repeat.
But maybe the reason why they never accepted her for the damned audition is she’s not fit to be in a movie. No, because what she just accepted– what she just got, what she just face-palmed into oblivion when she got the script, saw the cast, everything– was a sit-com. A TV series. It overwhelmed her, truly.
She's been all about movies since forever. Movies were her jam. Binge watching comfort movies or horror films, anything that keeps her up at night or whatever. So obviously when she decided to be an actor or die trying, she didn’t really consider anything else. That’s why when Yongsun, her agent, told her to expand her horizon– she did. And damn, did she expand somewhere.
First try at an ad, she got it. First try at a short film, taken by Jung Wheein. First try at a TV series? Well, it didn’t occur to her that first tries work on something that huge.
Because movies have one huge paycheck. TV series… smaller and gradual but man does it give her a sliver of hope that she won’t be kangaroo-ing or dolphin diving jobs instead of pursuing her dreams.
One problem though. She read the damned script, her role, and co-stars– and she really needed some pain in or else she would scream and swear.
ing love interest is the Moon Byulyi?! The ice cold on set?! The actor that acts like a director in each scene?! ing god, she hates it already.
But whatever, it’s not like she’s a rich, nepotism-baby, has all the connections, will ruin you if you mess with her type of in the industry.
She’s just a rookie.

Is she really a rookie?!
Was all Byulyi could really think when she saw the new name– her co-star and supposed love interest in their story of “Will they? Won’t they?” type of relationship. Byulyi didn’t want to take this job. She doesn’t like working on any TV series. She just wants to be in a movie, one big paycheck then she never has to see anyone again. Until her next project of course.
But man does it truly interest Byulyi to see such a rookie act like s
