The entire day was tiring. Taeyeon is used to being alone during awards shows ever since she went solo. She misses her members a lot. She has no one to whisper random gossips, or to jam during performances, or just to simply enjoy the suffering. She is used to sitting with various idols or groups so it is not hard for her to interact with people during such shows. But tonight was different, she was sitting with her new members. 

However, she misses the girls terribly. And the blonde beside her was not feeling any different. She remembers their conversation a while ago.

“I miss the members,” Taeyeon whispered which Hyoyeon replied with a sigh.

“Yeah,” Hyoyeon looked at her and said, “How did you do this all alone?”

Taeyeon looked at her and smiled, “I just think of all of you, and of course SONEs. I’m glad you’re here though,”

“Really? Me too,”

“It feels familiar,”

“Home.”

Taeyeon opened the door to their dorm. She was greeted by a pair of silver poodles, one slightly younger than the other. The blonde behind her tripped on something causing her to curse audibly. After greeting her, the dogs went to Hyoyeon. Taeyeon made her way to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. Hyoyeon followed her to the kitchen and placed her bag on the counter beside Taeyeon.

“Taeyeonnie, are you hungry?”

“Nope. Tired? Yes!” Taeyeon sighed.

Hyoyeon nodded, “Me too, I think I’ll shower and then pass out”

Taeyeon nodded, telling her that she would do the same. There are a lot of thoughts going on inside Taeyeon’s head, a lot of overwhelming feelings. She wants to dissect each of them one by one but she knows she can’t so she takes a deep breath and smiled at the smiling blonde in front of her. She took a step forward, clinging onto the blonde’s arm, and whispered, “can we talk later?”

Hyoyeon’s breath hitched. As someone who hates being confronted, this is her worst nightmare. But she couldn’t say no to Taeyeon. Not when she feels the delicate touch of her fingers on her arms, making circles with her thumb. Not when she is inches closer to her face that one swift she could capture her lip-WAIT WHAT? she thought.
