They have finished the pre-recording for SMCU Palace. They have a few days free before their schedule. Today, Hyoyeon was at the dorm the entire day. Taeyeon will be home in a few hours from Nolto. Hyoyeon decided to cook dinner for Taeng since she cooked for her the other day.

She doesn't know what time Taeyeon will be back, but she assumes it will be in a few hours.

When Taeyeon entered the dorm, a familiar and scrumptious smell welcomed her. Her stomach growled thus she made her way towards the dining area to see Hyoyeon setting the table up for the both of them.

"Great! You're just in time, Taeyeonnie" Hyoyeon placed the final plate and sat down, "Let's eat."

Taeyeon has a huge grin on her face. There's a warm feeling on her chest that she cannot explain. True, she knows the word for it but again, Taeyeon will never say it outloud. The two exchanged stories about their day, reminisced about their dorm days, and many more. When they were about to finish, Hyoyeon called out Taeyeon.

“Taeng,” Hyo called, “do you wanna go out to lunch tomorrow?”

Hyoyeon didn’t know why but her heart was pounding inside her chest. She felt like she was gonna explode any minute now. Taeyeon, on the other hand, felt like her heart was about to combust. 

“Are you asking me out?” Taeyeon teased.

“Maybe?” 

“Okay,” Taeyeon can only utter one word after that. She doesn’t trust a word that is about to come out of . She gave Hyoyeon the most genuine smile she could give which Hyoyeon returned.

When Hyoyeon asked her out, Taeyeon was shocked and relieved. But now, she’s panicking. What does it mean? It’s not like we’re going on a date. RIGHT? Taeyeon shrugged. She picked up her things and walked towards her room. Hyoyeon was already inside her room. When she passed Hyo’s room, she heard her talking, meaning she was on the phone. She didn’t mean to, but she’s now eavesdropping. She couldn’t hear the other party but she could hear Hyoyeon’s response. 

“Is it that good?”

“Shut up!”

“Ohh okay!!”

“OMO, Thank you, jagiya!!”

Jagiya??

“Right, thank you. I don’t know what to do without you!”

“Yep, I will!” 

“Shut Up!!!! Let’s sleep now! Byeee, I love you!!” then Hyoyeon laughed.

Taeyeon felt closing up. Her chest is tightening. Is Hyoyeon in a relationship? she thought. Why didn’t she tell me? Taeyeon made it to her room. She placed her things on her table, and lay down on her bed. Taeyeon fell asleep thinking, and the last thought she had was “I think I’ll cancel.”

Hyoyeon was the first one to wake up. She made her way to the common area and sat there watching the atmosphere outside, carrying Bailey with her. Everything is suddenly brighter, she thought. Hyoyeon has the biggest smile on her face. A few minutes later, Taeyeon announced herself by stumbling over a Zero’s toy. Hyoyeon greeted her with a warm smile which sent too many feelings all at once to Taeyeon. But her decision is final. She stayed on the couch, playing with Zero.

Hyoyeon made her way towards them and dropped Bailey on the floor with Zero. 

“Taeyeon, what time should we leave?”

Taeyeon sighed, her heart breaking into many pieces, “About that,” she faced Hyoye
