Taeyeon has no idea how to make it up to Hyoyeon but she’s not about to give up. The holidays are approaching. Hyoyeon is going to spend Christmas with her family and fly to Vietnam for a DJ gig on New Year’s Eve. Their schedules are both full-packed and Taeyeon has not seen Hyoyeon since she left. 

Perhaps, I can make it up to her after New Year’s Eve.

Hyoyeon is not the type of person who will open up and respond to their groupchat. She’s more of a private message type of person. It is New Year’s Eve. The girls are updating each other on their whereabouts and greeting each other with a promise to, hopefully, be able to spend more time with each other. Everyone has greeted except for YoonA who is probably preparing for MBC and Hyoyeon because of her DJ gig. 

The show has started, and Hyoyeon is at her makeup chair preparing. It is New Year in Korea already. She feels her phone vibrating due to various messages from different people. She grabbed her phone and was not surprised by the surge of messages from her friends. But instead of opening the Soshi chatroom, a private message caught her eye.

Happy New Year, Kim Hyoyeon. Good luck with your set tonight. I’ll see you when you get back.

I miss you. Why do you always leave?

Hyoyeon found herself smiling at the text. She sat on the couch and posted a picture before sending it to Taeyeon with the message, Happy New Year, Taeyeonnie! See you soon!

Taeyeon grabbed her phone as it vibrated. She knows that it is from Hyoyeon, what she didn’t know was it is a picture of her. God, I miss her.
