Hyoyeon is in New York for a fashion show. She and Taeyeon are set to perform at the MIK Festival in Paris. After that little incident with Yuri, Taeyeon was rattled. She loves Hyoyeon, but it is not just that. She is in love with Hyoyeon. When Hyo assured her that they do not need to rush, it made her love her even more. Hyoyeon was willing to adjust and sacrifice for her. It may be her love language, and Taeyeon is starting to learn.

But what about me? Taeyeon thought. What can I do for her? Taeyeon is set to arrive earlier than Hyoyeon. She made an arrangement that she and Hyoyeon would share the same room while the staff are in the other big suite. She is used to having her staff in her room so when she made a request to have Hyoyeon as roommate, most of them were puzzled but they shrugged it off, giving her what she wanted.

Maybe it’s their new found closeness, they thought.

She knows that she will be tired because of her flight so she made sure that Hyoyeon will be comfortable when she arrives.

When she did arrive, Hyoyeon smiled to herself when she found out that Taeyeon arranged everything. She hurriedly went to their room to find the other with her coloring books. Taeyeon’s tongue sticks out when she's focusing, an observation she has always noted since they debuted. When she heard the door open, Taeyeon let go of what she was holding and rushed towards the girl, finding her girl…(?) setting her things down. She rushed towards Hyo with excitement like a little girl on her first arcade experience. Hyoyeon returned the same energy. 

When they separated, Hyoyeon set down her things and rummaged through her suitcase, finding something that she could wear.

“Taeng, we have time before soundcheck, you want to go out?” Hyoyeon asked.

“Oh,” Taeyeon thought, “aren’t you tired? I think I prefer staying and resting before the soundcheck.”

Hyoyeon nodded and stayed quiet.

“Do you want to go out?” Taeyeon asked.

“Hmm,” Hyoyeon was contemplating whether she would tell the truth or lie so Taeyeon would not feel bad over her decision. The least thing that she wants to do is to force Taeyeon to do something she’s not willing to do. “Hmm. I guess I am kinda tired,” she lied.

Hyoyeon wanted to try this new gelato place that Tiffany and Yuri recommended when they visited Paris, and she wanted to take Taeyeon out but she realized, maybe we should rest. Soundcheck is in two hours.

“Are you sure?”

“Yeeah,” Hyoyeon stood up and made her way towards the bathroom, “I’ll just take a bath,”

I could try the gelato later, she thought as the water ran through her body.

The MIK Performance was a success. Hyoyeon was on fire, the fans thought. She has always been a phenomenon in Paris so the crowd was not a surprise anymore. Most fans also noticed that Hyo was wearing an altered top that was previously worn by Taeyeon. The two artists were glad that the performance was over. 

They were resting inside their hotel room when Hyoyeon’s hair stylist called and asked her to roam around the city at night. Hyoyeon was hesitant to leave Taeyeon but she really wanted to see the city. So she stood up and went to see Taeyeon, who is busy playing a mobile game.
