Someone told Kyuhyun, once, that jealousy was hot; something that boiled inside oneself until it destroyed you completely.

But Kyuhyun disagreed, to him, jealousy felt cold, like a shower you took to wake up in the morning, like a winter night in Canada, like the feeling of an ice cube going down your throat. To Kyuhyun, jealousy just felt like coldness.

At least, it felt like it when he saw this man, flirting with Yesung just in front of his eyes. 

The rational part of his brain told him that it wasn't his fault, that this hoobae didn't know that Yesung was his, and never going to be someone else, ever. The least rational part of his brain just wanted to kiss Yesung, right now, in front of all the SM staff, and maybe throw a few clothes off until he could mark his neck in front of everybody and just say "mine". 

But he was still a bit rational, even in this situation so he only watched his Hyung taking care of this hoobae, like a good Hyung, a good sunbae, without realizing the words the man was spouting, the way he was bending over Yesung trying to whisper into his ears while holding his hands was nothing like a cute innocent hoobae trying to get some advices from an older group member. But no, His Hyung, and he knew it first hand for being the victim of his obliviousness, didn't notice any of that. 

Scratch that, jealousy wasn't cold, it was freezing, and Kyuhyun wasn't going to let this man TOUCH his Hyung hands with such softness anymore. 

It's when he saw him caressing those fingers that he snapped.

"Excuse me"

Yesung looked up at the sound of his maknae, his lover's voice, smiling, Kyuhyun tended to have this effect of him, had the power to appease him when he felt like the world could drown him, then his voice could grab him out of the water, and sometimes, could also push him down in the waters, where the only that could echo in his brain was his voice only. 

But this time, the smile left as his face as quickly as it came, seeing those round eyes, usually so soft, so full of affection, being so cold and dark. 

Kyuhyun was angry.

He thought people who didn't know him well probably couldn't see it, after all he was polite, and his tone didn't show any anger, but those eyes were all he needed. He just needed to know why he was angry now. 

Yesung swallowed with difficulty, Kyuhyun was only looking at him. He wasn't good when those eyes looked at him with this intensity, especially in public, what was his maknae thinking??? He could feel his cheeks blushing a little bit, but he will not look away, he didn't know what Kyuhyun was angry about, but he wasn't going to look ashamed for something he didn't do, or wasn't sure he did.

However, Kyuhyun looked satisfied looking at his face, and his eyes looked a bit softer now, as if he wanted the confirmation for something, and then slowly, he looked at his hoobae who was still next to him, a bit perplexed by what was happening right now.
