As they went to get the rest of their tags Heeseung was coming to a decision, one that would probably alienate him from the others even though he knew better than to do what he was doing.

Heeseung just hoped that Beomgyu would be okay with his decision.

"Oi, I'm going to need help," grunted Beomgyu as he struggled to grip onto the alligator's jaws and lift it into the boat. Heeseung and Youngtaek went to grab it by the front feet and help Beomgyu haul it into the boat, the three of them falling back once it was in.

"God damn this is a big gator," remarked Heeseung as he moved to help Beomgyu and Youngtaek move it into the center so the boat wouldn't tip over and they'd lose the 10 they already had. Along with the other important things.

"You think this rivals our first day gator?" Asked Beomgyu. "I don't know yet," hummed Heeseung. "But I think we're done for the day," he added.

"We're already full, and I think it's close to the time to stop anyway," explained Heeseung as he went to sit down at the wheel, turning on the boat and starting to drive back. "If we get any more we'll definitely get them," he added.

They were stalling, and Jungwon knew it. Or at least, had an idea. Two weeks into the season and even Jake and Sunghoon weren't finished yet with their tags. Jake and Sunghoon even had to drag the airboat over just to try and finish out their run. He was baffled at how had Jaehwan done it within the first week but Beomgyu, Heeseung and Youngtaek took two to finish their tags. Jake and Sunghoon were well into the last week of getting tags and they were still a good chunk away from finishing.

Heeseung was at least allowed to relax, since he was done with his tags so he had time to think of the decision he was about to make. Niki was in safe hands at least, until he started changing anyway. Judging from how things were going? It wouldn't be any time soon.

"You're thinking of leaving with them?" Asked Jungwon as Heeseung finally told him of his plans. "I think I may, if Beomgyu is fine with it," replied Heeseung as he shrugged. "I never fit in here, and I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm half vampire," he added.

"Everyone's tolerated you so far, and Niki's fine here," hummed Jungwon. "Why the change of heart?" He asked. "I don't feel like I belong here," came the reply as Heeseung shrugged. "I'll be sure to come and visit since Niki is here but even if Beomgyu says no I'm still going to leave," he added.

"Alright," said Jungwon. "Just know you'll have a place with us again, if it doesn't work out," he added. Heeseung smiled slightly, the corners of his lips going upwards. "I'll keep that in mind," he hummed, nodding.

"You want to leave with us?" Asked Beomgyu as he blinked in surprise. "I never really fit in with this pack, you know this," Heeseung said with a shrug. "I actually don't, but okay," hummed Beomgyu. "But if you're sure I'll let you go with us," he added. "I'm sure," hummed Heeseung. "I need to find my way in this world, and Niki's in a good place," he added. Beomgyu nodded. "Okay," he muttered.

"Is there a reason you're leaving Niki here?" Asked Youngtaek as he tilted his head to the side. "He's with Jay," hummed Heeseung. "Eh?" Asked Youngtaek. "Platonically of course," explained Heeseung. "Niki is aromantic and aual," he explained. "Jay respects that, so he keeps it as platonic as possible to make sure Niki is happy," he added. "He's fine here, Jungwon will make sure of it," he said, nodding.

"Also, Niki's underage, for another year," added Beomgyu. "If I remember correctly?" He asked. "Yeah," replied Heeseung. "Jay already swore he wouldn't do anything though, after I nearly tore him to shreds," he added with a shake of his head.

The others were indifferent about Heeseung's decision to leave. Niki was well aware of Heeseung's insecurites within the pack, so he was happy for Heeseung and his decision. It was a hard one for the two brothers, but Niki had Jay, and Heeseung trusted that Jay would keep him safe.

"Thanks for letting me do this last hunt with you guys," said Heeseung as he stood with Jungwon before he left with Beomgyu and Youngtaek. "Sure," hummed Jungwon. "Take care of Niki, okay?" Asked Heeseung. "We will," replied Jungwon.

"Who knows, you may come back and I'll be a 'shifter!" Exclaimed Niki as he grinned at Heeseung. "I'll look forward to it kid," Heeseung replied with his own grin.

"Take care of my brother, Jay," warned Heeseung as Jay walked over, throwing an arm around Niki's shoulder and smirking at Heeseung. "Don't worry," reassured Jay. "He's in good hands," he added, dropping the smirk and turning it into a soft smile. "We'll take care of things here, return when you want yeah?" He asked. Heeseung nodded, turning when Youngtaek and Beomgyu walked over, Beomgyu having the pack slung over his shoulder while Youngtaek was in his fox form.

"Ready?" Asked Beomgyu. "Sure," replied Heeseung as he nodded. "Get us out of here then dog," Beomgyu stated with a teasing smirk. "Oi," growled Heeseung as he looked offended at the nickname. "Let's go," he added, sighing as he shook his head at Beomgyu. "Bye hyung!" Niki called as Beomgyu, Youngtaek and Heeseung ran off into the forest, Heesung leading the way.

Once they were back on track Beomgyu took the lead, heading north back towards Canada and stopping along the way to let Youngtaek sleep while Beomgyu and Heeseung hunted.

"Where are we going?" Asked Heeseung as they paused to let Youngtaek drink from a stream. "We're headed back to Russia," hummed Beomgyu. "I was only in the states because of you," he added. "Didn't expect me to come back with you huh?" Asked Heeseung. "Nope," hummed Beomgyu.

"So what are we doing back in Russia?" Asked Heeseung. "I was asked to head back, apparently Seongyoon needed to speak to me," responded Beomgyu. "What about?" Asked Heeseung. "I don't know," hummed Beomgyu.
