The dark room had become silent again. Gikwang was laying on the sofa silently, watching the bed and the person who was laying on it. His mind slowly went to the previous moment of the night where the princess hugged that guy. What the legendary assassin scared of? Was it something worth to be cared of? Was it worse than his fear? Why the princess seemed so concerned about him and his fear?

Gikwang sighed slowly, didn’t want to disturb the other person in the room.

Then, a light sound was heard from the window. Instantly, he grabbed his gun at his waist and rushed to the window.

Pang!

The main door of the room was forcedly opened, making Gikwang who was standing at the window turned his head to the door. At the same time, the window was broken by a large force, pushing Gikwang forward and he fell on the carpeted floor on the pieces of the broken window. Gikwang quickly turned to the destroyed window with serious look. The moonlight beamed on him, revealing his scratched cheek that bled.

There was a masked man in fully dark clothes standing in front of him. Unexpectedly, Gikwang raised his gun and shot his chest. Since their distance was close, the bullet went through the chest of the person, creating a splash of blood from his back.

‘To make sure the plan succeed, you must be fast. Don’t think twice to attack other.’

The words echoed in his head. He smirked. He was sure that he was fast enough. Instantly, Gikwang turned to the bed but he was a bit late, the other person already stood beside the bed, pointing the head of the gun to the person that he was supposed to protect.

“Just two of us? But the security of this mansion is too tight,” Wooyoung, who was sitting in a meeting room with another two guys voiced out.

“That’s why we need to make this as low as possible,” Taecyeon, who was sitting at the head of the table replied calmly.

“Yeah, plus we are not going for a war. We are just going to finish a little girl’s life. Are you scared, Wooyoung?” Junho, who would be Wooyoung’s partner jumped in the conversation.

“I’m not scared. But this sound impossible,” Wooyoung replied anxiously, with a frown on his forehead.

Taecyeon smirked, listening to Wooyoung complain. “That’s what we need to do, little guy. They won’t be expecting this from us,”

Wooyoung sighed, not knowing what to reply.

Doojoon eyes widely opened. He quickly woke up from his sleep when he heard the sound, the loud shooting sound. He sat up and saw Hyunseung was doing the same thing. He looked at Hyunseung with a serious and anxious expression as Hyunseung replied him with the same look. Both of them nodded and quickly reached for their weapon under their pillow.

Swiftly they moved out of the room, trying to find the source of the sound. On their way, they saw all the guards were laying on the floor. Doojoon stopped at one of them, touched their upper neck to feel their pulse.

“They are alive,” Doojoon said to Hyunseung who was waiting for him.

“Does that mean they already have a target?” Hyunseung replied, anxious.

Doojoon looked at Hyunseung with a confused look. Then, they both gasped. “The princess,”

Quickly, they went to the princess’s room.

Junho instantly pulled the trigger. However, before the bullet was shot out, a hand grabbed his hand causing the bullet to be shot to the head of the bed. Because of the sudden and forceful attack, Junho unconsciously released his gun. Before he knew it, he was landing on the bed while the person who grabbed his hand was sitting on him, with a gun pointed at his head.

Junho frowned looking at this cute chubby boy. He has a small body yet his hold was so strong.

“Checkmate,” Yoseob smirked, satisfied with his succeed plan.

Running footsteps were heard. However, Yoseob didn’t change his sight from Junho. He was worried that this guy would escape if he glanced away even just for a while.

“Miss Lee!” Doojoon called when he arrived at the opened door. He stopped instantly, shocked with what he had saw.

Hyunseung came after a while. He was confused with Doojoon surprised expression and quickly turned to where Doojoon was staring. Then, his eyes widened.

“Come on, Doojoon. Help me hold him,” Yoseob complaint after he heard the voice.

“Owh, sorry,” Doojoon quickly rushed to help Yoseob. Doojoon pulled out a chain from his waist and chained Junho’s both hand. Junho was struggling but he stopped when Doojoon smacked his head with the of his gun. Instantly, Junho fainted.

“Why did you do that?” Yoseob unsatisfied, pouting.

“To make it easier,” Doojoon replied as if it was the right thing to do.

“What if he lost his memory, then we will have no info from him,” Yoseob continued his complaint, still with a pout.

“Where is Miss Lee Jieun?” Hyunseung asked as he stepped in the room.

However, both Doojoon and Yoseob were too busy debating about the smack on Junho head and they didn’t hear Hyunseung question.

“She is here,” Gikwang suddenly appeared from the other door of the room, where it was connected to the Yoseob’s room.

Jieun was standing beside him, looked shocked and scared. She had never faced this kind of situation before. When her grandfather was still alive, no one dare to step in the mansion. Now, few days after his death, people started to attack her.

“Are you okay, miss?” Hyunseung asked, concerned as he saw the worried and terrified look of her.

Jieun nodded slowly before she turned her head to Yoseob who was still mouth-fighting with Doojoon.

“I’m hungry,” Yoseob suddenly started kicking his legs on the bed like a small child.

Jieun smiled, looking at the moment. How can he act like nothing happen?

Gikwang saw the smile curved on Jieun lips. Why she was looking at him with that smile?

Doojoon frowned, confused. As far as he knew, they were debating about a smack on this guy head and now he was complaining that he was hungry. Plus, he was almost won after explaining how that small force won’t cause a memory lost.

“Anyway, whose plan is this?” Hyunseung asked, looking at Gikwang and then to Yoseob.

Yoseob was about to walk to his room after the misunderstanding. But then, he heard light sounds from the outside. Quickly, he rushed to the window.

Gikwang who saw the action was about to ask but before he could say a word, Yoseob made a ‘sshh’ sign, placing his index finger to his lips.

Jieun who was sitting on the bed, quickly looked at Gikwang, trying to find the answer. Gikwang just shrugged his shoulder.

Yoseob slightly peek through the curtain and saw two person carefully walked at the garden. Then, he saw one of them looked up at the window. Yoseob stayed still, not wanting to create a movement to the curtain. It may cause suspicious to the intruders. After the intruders lost from his sight, he quickly yet silently rushed to Gikwang.

“There are intruders,” Yoseob whispered to Gikwang and Jieun.

“Let’s warn the rest,” Gikwang suggested and turned to the door but Yoseob quickly pulled him back to the original position.

“Sshh, we can’t do that. They will run away and bring more people,” Yoseob explained still in whisper.

“So, are there anything that we can do?” Jieun asked, suddenly excited. It was her first time to involve in this kind of situation. It felt like she was playing a game which she never got to experienced before.

“What is their motive?” Gikwang asked out of curiosity before Yoseob could answer Jieun. 

“Well, I think they are targeting the princess,” Yoseob pointed at Jieun, with a teasing smile on his face.

“But, why me?” Jieun asked, confused. Nobody ever attacked her. Most people didn’t even know about here existent.

“I don’t know. That’s why we need to capture them and interrogate them,” Yoseob answered in serious tone.

“Do you have any plan?” Gikwang asked. He noticed from the tone of Yoseob’s voice that he had something in his mind.

“You’re genius, Kiki. Here’s the plan. We hide the princess, while I pretend I’m her. We just need one of them. So…” Yoseob explained more to both Gikwang and Jieun. 

“‘To make sure the plan succeed, you must be fast. Don’t think twice to attack other.” Yoseob said to Gikwang before he went to the luxurious bed of the princess.
