    Winter was just smiling and shaking her head while scrolling her eyes up and down her phone's screen. Ningning just got into her family's house somewhere in Beijing, meanwhile, Winter was left alone in the same city where Karina's family currently stays. She wanted it. She told Ningning to let her alone in the said city as she doesn't want to disturb in her family events.

 

   Heavy raindrops poured down along the slippery streets in Beijing. There are still lights on all over the place, the traffic lights are still on the duty, the street lights as well. 

 

    Winter just knew that the coffee shop was not really built under Karina's family's name but under Karina and Lucas' business partnership. Ningning demanded a one on one talk with Lucas whom she eventually became friends with, she asked him about his true relationship with Karina who seemingly avoids Winter. Lucas told her that their parents are friends, specifically their dads. Lucas' father is the CEO of their own company, therefore, his dad has the capability of helping Karina's parents, her dad specifically. When Lucas' father knew that Karina's parents are staying in China for a job, he eventually contacted his friend from college and hired him as the new manager of his company as the recently appointed manager just got fired for alleged stealing.

 

    With their dads being close friends and in the name of gratitude, their children met, thus making the children also friends. Lucas offered Karina a business partnership as the freshly graduate busineman just made a coffee shop business, he found it a bit hard at first so having a partner in business might help him and since Karina is a child and the only child of his father's trusted friend, Lucas did not hesitate to offer the partnership to Karina. Since Karina has no job, she immediately said yes and the agreement soon happened.

 

    That was exactly months ago when Karina decided to go to China where her parents are, after that controversy she encountered with Winter.

 

    Winter sniffed on her hot coffee.

 

    The coffee shop just closed but she got the coffee beforehand. She's waiting for Karina who's nowhere to be seen, she thought that the older lady was still inside the coffee shop but the truth is... she's already home as Lucas drove her there,, just about the same time they closed the coffee shop.

 

    Winter will never give up.

 

    She will never give up even though the rain doesn't stop.

 

    She's actually waiting for no one.

 

    She sipped on her coffee and looked side ways.

 

    I've been sitting on this waiting shed for already half an hour and I already look like an idiot for staying in the middle of a heavy rain.

 

   Her feet are already trembling because of the cold, her hands are still on the cup of coffee that's, thankfully, still hot.

 

    She pursues her lips and looked in front of her when she heard a car's horn. The horn honk loudly and Winter almost lost her grip on the cup, she squinted her eyes and looked at the azure blue audi that stopped in front of her.

 

    The driver slowly pulled down the car window to the driver's seat, their spots are exactly facing each other. The driver's seat on the left, meeting the waiting shed accross where the poor lady awaits for someone who already went back home.

 

    Winter's brows automatically lifted as she saw an unfamiliar face before her. 

 

    The car window was already down.

 

    "Hi." said the driver of the azure blue audi. Winter gulped before awkwardly smiling.

 

    "H-Hi." she greeted back. The driver gleamed a sweet smile.

 

    "I saw you there just about 20 minutes ago and you're still there when I came back.. and... that's now!" The driver shouted, trying to break into the unstoppable sound of heavy raindrops.

 

    "I-I'm w-waiting someone !" Winter shouted back although she did not understand the lady as she spoke in Chinese. She took a long gulp on her cup until the color of coffee vanished inside. She downed it that quick. Her feet are so cold and it showed on how they tremble and shake so bad! 

 

    Winter hugged herself after setting the cup aside.

 

    The cold did not disappear after a hot coffee. It's still cold and she's shivering!

 

    The driver of the audi, looking over the car window laughed at the sight.

 

    What a cutie.

 

    She let out a strong and loud fake cough to get the lady's attention from over the window. Winter once again looked up
