WINTER

Paint brushes, oil, acrylics, a messy palette and an almost finished painting are currently in front of me. With paint still in my fingers I stopped for a while and wiped away the paint against my apron before tying my hair up since I'm sweating profusely even though the studio is not that hot. 

I told Gi a few days ago that I'll be caving in here for a while to try and finish some paintings, so I'm currently living on instant food and bread from the nearest convinience store that I can find from my studio.

I haven't done much work but small progress is still progress. I'm more into abstract painting maybe that's why my progress is slow or maybe it's just me.

The studio is currently a wreck right now since I got here four days ago and it's Saturday now. I will have to clean up later. My studio is almost an hour drive away from the city. I specifically choose this spot since there's less commotion here. The neighborhood is great too but there's less people compared to the city. 

I was going to back into painting when my phone vibrated showing a text from Gi.

"You going home tonight?" Her text read. A smile immediately formed on my lips knowing that she's asking because she's gonna cook for me if I said yes.

"Yes. And yes cook dinner for me please!" I replied back.

"Okay, see yah !" Her reply made me smile. She's the one to call me dumb when she's actually dumber. My bestfriend is crazy.
