"Seulgi wake up"

Seulgi groaned when she felt someone patting her cheek gently, waking her up.

"Come on. It's almost 12. Jennie and Hyojoo are looking for us already" 

Seulgi huffed, still refusing to wake up. She then shifted and lied on her back. 

"Come on, Seul. Wake up. My legs are getting numb already" 

Seulgi felt her body being shaken, waking her up again. She groaned and finally opened her eyes. She saw Joohyun looking down at her with a smile on her face. 

 "Hello sleepyhead" Joohyun greeted sweetly.

Seulgi looked at the older girl in daze.

"Hi babe" she smiled back sleepily and then closed her eyes.

It took a few seconds for her to realize what she just said. And when it did, she quickly opened her eyes and sat up in panic. 

"U-unnie! I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disrespect you. I was just sleepy. I'm so sorry" Seulgi apologized while bowing repeatedly.

Joohyun chuckled despite her red cheeks.

"It's okay. Let's go back now? Jennie has been messaging and calling me nonstop" She said showing her phone that was still ringing.

Seulgi nodded and fixed her hair and clothes.

Joohyun stood up but then sat back down. She forgot about her numb legs.

"Um...  is it okay if we stay here for a few minutes? I can't feel my legs" She chuckled awkwardly.

Seulgi felt guilty. "I'm so sorry unnie. Here, let me help you"

Seulgi stood up and crouched down infront of the older girl. But then hesitated when she realized what she was about to do. "Um.. is it alright if I t-touch your legs? To massage it! So that you'll feel better" She quickly added so that the older girl won't misunderstand.

Joohyun just silently nodded, cursing herself for wearing a sundress.

Seulgi gulped and shakily stretched Joohyun's legs out. She then looked away and started massaging it gently. Making sure to never touch it longer than she had to.

Joohyun smiled at the younger girl. Finding it cute that Seulgi was trying to be respectful to her. She then remembered the kiss and suddenly felt shy.

"Um.. Seulgi"

"Yes unnie?" Seulgi answered without looking at the older girl.

"A-About the kiss. I-"

"It's okay, unnie. I'll forget about it." 

"What?" Joohyun frowned. 

Seulgi finally looked at her. "I know you just did that to shut me up. So you don't have to worry. I won't mention it to anyone too." She said with a smile.

"No. I'm-" 

"How are you feeling, unnie? Does your legs still feel numb?" Seulgi said, changing the topic.

Joohyun pursed her lips.

She didn't like the way the younger girl was acting like it was nothing, especially now that she had finally admitted to herself that she likes Seulgi.

"Unnie, are you okay now?" Seulgi looked at her with concern. 

"You're disgusted by me, aren't you?" Joohyun said with teary eyes.

That was the only thing that came to her mind, as to why Seulgi wanted to forget about the kiss.

"Huh?" Seulgi was confused.

"You're disgusted that I kissed you" 

Seulgi's eyes widened. "No, unnie. Please don't misunderstand. I'm just-" 

"Whatever. Let's just go find Hyojoo and Jennie." 

Joohyun stood up and started walking away. Leaving the younger girl behind. 

Seulgi watched the older girl's back and groaned before standing up and running after the older girl. 

"Wait unnie!" 

Joohyun just continued walking, faster this time. 

Seulgi was finally able to caught up with the older girl. She quickly held Joohyun's wrist to stop her. 

"Let go of me! Kang Seulgi!" Joohyun hissed and tried to pry the hand off her wrist, but Seulgi still held on.

"No. I won't let go. Not until you listen to me" 

"What more do you want to say? I already get it. You're disgusted that I-"

"I like you!" Seulgi suddenly yelled, cutting Joohyun off.

Joohyun just stood frozen. Too stunned to react.

Seulgi looked away and continued. "I was afraid to hear you say that the kiss was just a mistake. My heart couldn't take it. Especially since I really like you. That's why I said that" 

There was a moment of silence before Joohyun finally talked.

"You... like me?" Joohyun asked dumbly while pointing at herself.

"Yeah. Actually the first time I saw you, I was already attracted to you" Seulgi confessed, still avoiding eye contact.

"Then why did you always annoy me?"

"To get your attention" Seulgi bit her lips shyly.

"I wanted to be friends with you the first time we met, but then my clumsy self made you hate me. That's why I tried another method to get your attention, hoping we'll get closer. But I just made it worse instead" She chuckled awkwardly.

Joohyun sighed and carressed the hand that was on her wrist.

"I didn't hate you. I was angry, yes. But never hated you." 

"You asked your parents to fire me because I accidentally poured cold noodles on your shoes" Seulgi looked at the older girl with a pout.

Joohyun chuckled. "Okay. I'm sorry. I was just not in the mood that day. Plus, I've saved up for that shoes. It was actually the first time I wore it and my favorite too. That's why I was that angry"

"I'm sorry" Seulgi apologized and continued pouting.

"It's okay" Joohyun smiled. "Come here" She gestured with wide open arms. 

Seulgi hesistated at first, but finally complied. She slowly walked closer to the older girl, letting go of her wrist in the process.

Joohyun hugged Seulgi and felt her stiffened in her embrace.

"Relax. I'm not gonna bite you. Unless you want me to" Joohyun joked.

It took a few seconds before Seulgi finally relaxed and hugged the older girl back.

Joohyun closed her eyes contently. It was the first time she felt that happy.

"I like you too, Kang Seulgi" She whispered.

Suddenly she felt Seulgi let her go and pushed her away gently, to escape from her embrace.

"What's wrong?" Joohyun asked with a frown.

Seulgi took a few steps back, away from the older girl. "No, unnie. You're lying. You don't like me" 

"I've kissed you- well more like a peck. But still, our lips met! Wasn't that telling enough?!" Joohyun said through gritted teeth. Trying hard not to get angry and make a scene.

Even if they were in a secluded area, there were still some people walking around.

"No. You just did that without any meaning" Seulgi said shaking her head, still refusing to believe.

Joohyun crossed her arms. "What do you want me to do then? To make you believe that I like you?" 

"I don't know" Seulgi looked away.

Joohyun closed her eyes. Counting to ten, to calm herself down.

She really couldn't blame the younger girl for not believing her. Since she never really did something, to show to Seulgi, that she likes her before. 

Plus she didn't even believe herself too, once she realized that she likes Seulgi. That's why she kept denying it.

She just finally accepted her feelings, when she couldn't take it anymore.

Joohyun sighed and massaged her forehead. "Okay. Let's just talk about this later. Let's just go back to Hyojoo and Jennie. They're probably wondering where we are now" 

"I'm really sorry, unnie. I hope you're not mad" Seulgi apologized. Feeling guilty for reacting that way.

She really wanted to believe the older girl, but she was afraid of getting her hopes up and eventually get hurt.

"No. I'm not. Don't worry" Joohyun smiled a bit. 

Seulgi still looked worried.

"Come here. We'll talk later okay?" Joohyun offered her hand. 

Seulgi hesitantly took it. 

Joohyun's smiled widened. She grabbed the younger girl's hand firmly and lead her back to the museum.

"Where you guys have been? I thought you were just buying something? Why did it took almost two hours?" 

Hyojoo asked the two girls walking towards them.

She noticed the connected hands and frowned. She stole a glance at Jennie and was surprised to see her friend just smiling at the two. 

"We got lost" Joohyun answered with a shrug.

"Okay" Hyojoo looked at the two suspiciously.

"So... where should we go now? I mean the seafood market that I wanted to go to is a bit far and it's almost 12:30pm. I'm hungry." Jennie looked at her friends. Waiting for any suggestions. 

"We should just eat at a nearby restaurant" Joohyun said.

Seulgi just nodded in agreement. 

"Okay. Let's go" 

"Wait! I'll just go to the restroom. Jen, accompany me please?" Hyojoo said while grabbing Jennie's arm.

"Weren't you at the restroom earlier?" Jennie asked in confusion. 

"I drank a lot of water, remember?" Hyojoo said with narrowed eyes, silently signaling for Jennie to just play along. 

"Oh... yeah. You drank water" Jennie nodded unsurely.

"We will just wait there" Joohyun said while pointing at the other side of the museum.

Hyojoo nodded and then dragged Jennie to the restroom.
