Once upon a time in a castle in the Kingdom of Niveus, there lived a handsome prince called Jongho.

In that castle there also lived his step-father King Jinyoung, who wanted to become the most handsome man of them all.

One day when King Jinyoung asked his magic mirror who the most handsome man of the all was, the mirror answered Jongho.

Green of envy, the king ordered a huntsman, Gunhak, to kill Jongho and return with his heart in a jewelry box.

But Gunhak couldn't bring himself to kill the prince and told Jongho that the king wanted him dead, then told him to flee into the woods and never come back to the castle.

Jongho did as the huntsman told him to do and fled into the woods.

In the woods there was a cottage, where he met seven elves.
