Seungwan really really enjoyed her days off, although they were rare she’d take the opportunity to be peak lazy. Luckily this was one of those days, her one client had cancelled and considering their piece would have taken a considerable amount of her time she thanked the heavens that she had the day to herself.

Plopping herself on the couch with a hefty bowl of cereal the pj ridden girl clicked on Netflix and chilled, she sighed as the day would have been better if Joohyun was there with her but the younger has been especially busy since her job at Seoul’s up and coming magazine office started.

Seungwan was so proud of her girlfriend for coming this far and being so determined with her dreams of becoming a cultural journalist. Just as she was reminiscing though she did hear the jingle of keys and a door unlocking. Excited, the blonde jumped onto her feet wondering if her lover had forgotten something for work. 

“Hyun is that you babe?” the answered hum was confirmation to the blonde’s question

“You’re off work early, what’s up?”

“Got the day off from the boss and I come baring gifts” the mention of gift perked the blonde’s ear as she turned the corner to the doorway

“Gifts? Is it food? Or even better a – oh…” Seungwan stopped in her tracks 

“a child?” 

“Yes a child Wan”

“Not my child?”

“No, not your child Wan” The blonde looked utterly confused at the brunette who had her hands full with a little boy along with a heavy bag. Seungwan, being the good girlfriend she is, rushed to Joohyun to take some of the items as the girl rambled and walked into the apartment. 

“My co-worker got a call saying his wife slipped at home and I had to pick up this little rascal from his daycare” Joohyun scrunched her face to match the smile of the young boy who clung onto her 

Seungwan just deciding to go with the flow nodded and approached the two with a smile 

“Hi there bud, whats your name?”

“Pretty noona said don’t talk to strangers” the boy curtly replied to which Seungwan’s smile instantly dropped. 

Pretty noona? I know he didn’t just call her that, ok Wan this is NOT the time to get jealous over a 6 year old

“Kiyoung-ah you are a good listener aren’t you? But this is Wannie noona okay she’s not a stranger she lives with me” 

The boy looked at Seungwan sceptically… is a kid really giving me the head to toe look, lord give me strength right now

“My mommy said people who draw on themselves have bad skin” the young boy stated matter of factly, much to Seungwan’s discomfort because all she wanted to do today was binge watch tv, have a fat nap and eat to her hearts content but no, she has to deal with this child who she just knows is going to ask her a million and one questions 

Holding in a sigh Joohyun quickly answered “Those are Wannie noona’s tattoos they’re actually very good, she’
