(A/N): I'm unable to review the grammar and spelling for this chapter after pulling off an overnighter shift and later on, writing however, changes should happen once I have a proper rest. "Ugh, I just... I just can't with them!" Chaeyoung stomps her way inside the house followed by a sighing Lisa who then closes and locks the door.

Chaeyoung removes her overcoat and scarf before harshly throwing it straight to the couch. "After all that happened this morning, just like that??" she soon throws herself onto the long couch and starts screaming on one of throw pillows.

Lisa on the other hand, picks up Chaeyoung's overcoat to hang it beside her own. She then takes a sit right at the side of Chaeyoung's legs before patting it. "I totally appreciate what you did but you didn't have to be that cranky on them especially to Jisoo unnie, Chaeng."

Chaeyoung turns her body over to face Lisa while still laying flat on the couch. "They tried to put all the blame on you, Lis. You exactly know I can't just listen and shut up."

Lisa smiles, this time, it reaches her eyes and Chaeyoung felt her heart skip a beat, she saw a flicker of her real bestfriend again but it's gone again because Lisa reverted back to the dull version of her stares. "I'd do that too if the situation's reversed however we're not talking about some random people here, it's Jisoo unnie and Jennie unnie."

The unnie right after Jennie's name came out so awkward and weird especially coming from Lisa which literally made Chaeyoung's eyebrow corks up. "So it's back to unnie huh?"

Lisa shrugs, turns her head away and stares at the black television screen. "I have no right to call her anything but that." she turns her head and attention back to Chaeyoung. "Don't change the subject. Please be easy on them especially to Jisoo unnie."

Chaeyoung looks away, trying to deny the fact that she could never ever hate those two. She maybe disappointed, pissed and mad but the moment Jisoo and Jennie apologized, genuinely at that, she immediately finds herself struggling to stay pissed in front of them.

That's one of the reasons why she wanted to get out of that building as soon as she could.

Chaeyoung could hear Lisa sigh before she felt a hand on top of her own which makes her look back at her again. "What will you do if I call you early in the morning, crying and telling you that someone hurt me? And that someone is somehow one of your friends. What will you do?"

Chaeyoung frowns. "Of course, I'd kill that someone."

Lisa playfully rolls her eyes, making Chaeyoung grin. "I'm serious." Lisa stated.

"And you think I am not?"

Lisa locks her gaze with Chaeyoung for briefly a minute — enough to make the latter uncomfortable being the receiving end because it seems like Lisa is staring straight into her soul.

Lisa blinks. "Right, you'd do it but answer me with something less sinister."

"Well, first thing would be coming over to your house, talk it out, call that someone and ki— ow! Okay okay I was just joking." she could only pout while Lisa rubs the spot she just pinched. "I'll stop at call that someone."

While Lisa is still rubbing the spot she inflicted pain earlier, she says. "And what will you feel?"

"Mad, of course. I'd turn on my overprotective mode."

"Exactly." Lisa stops caressing. "That's just what Jisoo unnie did. Jennie unnie is also her bestfriend, Chaeng. And just like you would do, she turned her overprotective mode when she heard her crying. Whatever the conversation was in between, it doesn't matter. She's just protecting her bestfriend."

Chaeyoung stares directly up at the high ceiling of her house and sighs. "I get your point but I don't think I would ever say those words towards you if I was on her shoes. She knew what you've been through and for her to say those.."

Lisa starts caressing her again but this time, it's at the back of her hand. "People have different reactions and views on situations like this. She did what she thought was okay at that time. She apologized and that's all that matters."

"Were you disappointed or pissed at what she said against you?"

"Nope."

Chaeyoung looks back at Lisa. "Why so?"

"Because I'm more disappointed of myself more than any of you could ever." Lisa smiles and was about to stand up but Chaeyoung caught her by her elbow.

"Please don't say that. I was never disappointed of you."

Lisa smiles, pats the hand that was holding her from standing up. "I know and thank you. Nevertheless, I'm practically numb to anything so.."

Chaeyoung lets her go and sighs. "I wish you'd stop that. I miss the real you." The last phrase came out almost like a whisper.

She's not sure whether or not the latter her heard it because Lisa just heads out of the house towards the garage to take all their luggage out from the trunk of the car leaving Chaeyoung sighing once again while looking at the ceiling.

It's been two days since the confrontation and it's the only time Chaeyoung and Lisa finally heard something from Jisoo. To their defense, Jisoo immediately got occupied on her first day being a newly appointed Director of Research Team meanwhile Jennie had to be on operating table for almost 13 hours due to her back to back scheduled surgeries.

Chaeyoung scans her eyes around to find the older duo, took her less than a minute to spot them as Jisoo awkwardly waves her hand.

"Have you been waiting?" she asks, removes her coat and sets it on the empty side of the couch across Jennie and Jisoo.

Jisoo shakes her head, obviously being careful not to trigger the newly arrived woman. "Not for long, we've been here for probably less than 15 minutes."

"I see." she grabs her phone, dials Lisa's number and put the ear speaker against her right ear.

Chaeyoung looks at them and it's obvious that they're nervous, careful and quiet. After that talk with Lisa the other day, she finally had calmed down and realized things. Her guilt of being technically a  to Jennie and Jisoo immediately followed. She tried contacting them though but her call attempts — two for each — were not answered, she then later found out their whereabouts during that time through a text message.

Chaeyoung sighs, unable to stand the awkwardness that surrounds them any longer. "Look, both of you can relax. I am not here for another argument nor I was forced to be here. I realized a lot of things these past two days and I also want to apologize for my behavior."

Her first call attempt to Lisa was unanswered so she placed her phone on the table, she'd call Lisa later because maybe the latter was just busy. "Jisoo unnie, I understand why you did that, Lisa made me realize things so please.. like what she said, let's all move on. I hate feeling this bloody awkwardness surrounding us right now."

Jisoo felt like a massive boulder has finally been removed off her shoulders after hearing that. She releases a shaky breath, she knows she's in the verge of crying but she refuses to be an emotional wreck — one thing is for sure, if she cries, it's going to be a domino effect because Jennie and Chaeyoung will cry too. It's always been a like that.

"You don't know how relieved I was to hear that. And yes, your apology is accepted and I wanted to formally apologize too. I am sorry." Jisoo says.

Chaeyoung didn't even hesitate to reach out to hold both Jennie and Jisoo's hands whilst smiling — Jennie is already tearing up. "It's okay. Lisa had forgiven you so who am I not to? Let's all forget about it. We've learned our lessons."

Jennie and Jisoo's free hands are now resting on top of Chaeyoung's. "That we do. Thank you." Jisoo says.

Chaeyoung's smile was never erased, it feels so good to finally be able to reconcile with her other bestfriends. She's been dreading for this moment. She then turns her attention to Jennie and laughs. "Unnie, please don't cry." she removes her hands from the grip of the duo so she could grab a clean pack of dry tissue sheets.

Jisoo had to laugh at Jennie because instead of stopping, the latter ended up finally crying. Probably relieved hearing the laugh and the word unnie after two grueling and uncomfortable days of having this feud with Chaeyoung.

Jennie sniffs, wipes her cheeks clean and chuckles. "That's so embarrassing."

Chaeyoung grins. "I've seen way worse than that, college days. Ring a bell?"

Jennie playfully rolls her eyes. "Shut up."

Their little catch up was soon interrupted by Chaeyoung's phone going off for an upcoming call. Chaeyoung stares at her phone screen to see who it was and immediately answers it upon seeing the contact name.

"Where are you?" she mouthed 'It's Lisa' to the other two who were confused for a moment.

"I'm on my way, probably in about 10."
