  “Mommm Jessica is so annoying!” A young boy whined, breaking out a full sprint towards his mother.

  “Daniel! Slow down or else you might fall!” His mother chided. However, her words fell to deaf ears when her son continued his rebellious action. 

  “Oof.” His mother exclaimed when the young boy leaped off the ground before clashing into his mother’s torso, wrapping his short arms tightly around his mother’s waist, hugging her.

  “Mommy, do something about Jessica. She’s so irritating!” Daniel huffed in annoyance.

  “What did I say about running in the hallways? And, you shouldn’t call your siblings ‘annoying’ or ‘irritating’.” His mother warned him.

  “Sowy…but she’s… disturbing my time with daddy.” Daniel apologised.

  “Yennie, where did Daniel go?” A grown man came jogging towards the mother  , presumably going by the nickname of Yennie. Trailing behind him was a small child panting from running as fast as her tiny legs could carry her.

  “You too! What did I say about running down the hallways? And why is Jessica chasing after you and not with you?” The mother chastised the matured guy.

  “I mean…I was jogging and not running… About Jessica…she…well wanted to-” The man’s pupils shifted frantically before laying his eyes on the small child in the mother’s arm.

  “Hey! You little rascal! How dare you run off without notice?” The guy pointed his index finger at the small child named Daniel.

  “Are you ignoring me right now?” The mother placed her free hand on her waist before glaring at the man.

  “Come on Yennie, what could happen to Jessica? She’s at home-

  “...right?” The man replied in an unsure tone after observing how Yennie’s facial expression darkened.

  “Hwang. Eun. Bi. How could you say that? She has yet to fully develop her bones and muscles. She could have fallen and gotten an injury.” Yennie reprimanded. She then huff a sigh before continuing,

  “You’re sleeping outside tonight.” She said before walking off to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

  “You’re joking, right? It’s freezing outside in the living room! It’s flipping -20 degrees celsius!” Eunbi panicked.

  “Dad…that’s what you get for abandoning me.” Jessica smirked at her dad before following after her mother.

  “You gotta be kidding me…” Eunbi murmured before making his way towards the kitchen as well.
