In all of Kim Taeyeon’s years of working for their company, negotiating a deal or securing a contract has become an easy feat for her. A master negotiator is what her older brother Jiwoong describes her. Indeed, no deal or contract is impossible once Taeyeon get a hand on it. In just a short amount of time, she made a name for herself in the business world for her talent in acquiring the best offers. In truth, she attributed it to her meticulous planning. She studies her prospect carefully, keeping an eye to any mistake or loophole. Her employees and even competitors both admire and fear her for it. She knows, she’s becoming if not the best at what she does.

So when presented of a deal that she hasn’t study yet, Taeyeon felt a little off kilter. Sure, it involves her personal life, but judging from Tiffany’s statement, she needs to consider this one like a true negotiation. A prospect. 

Time to put the game face on. She straightened her pose and looks at Tiffany carefully.

“So, from the way you said it I’m getting you have already planned this.”

“Of course. When did I not? I’ve written all my conditions and you can have yours added if you have any. This is just for our living arrangement anyway.”

“Pardon me for not preparing, I just did not expect to be presented with this.” Taeyeon gestured her hand between them.

“Like I said this should me a mutual agreement, so I brought it for you to look up.” Tiffany then produced a manila folder which Taeyeon did not notice earlier. “How about we review it now so we can finalize it? I don’t know when will our families announce our engagement so I like to get it done before then.”

“Let’s get to it shall we?” Taeyeon said while holding her copy of their agreement. “This is ridiculous because I want our marriage to be real as it can be, however I will humor you this time Tiffany Hwang until I have a plan to win you over” Taeyeon thought to herself while reading the contents on the paper.

“I have to disagree with this clause, no sharing of bedroom. We cannot make them believe we have a real marriage if we are sleeping in separate bedrooms”

“What do you suggest?”

“How about we buy a custom sized bed? So there will be lots of spaces for us”

“This is not a laughing matter Taeyeon” Tiffany warned.

“And we’re not. I assure you I’m taking the matter seriously. How about this, I will agree to all the remaining clauses in this agreement only with a few concessions.”

“And what are those?”

“Hmm, let me think about it first and I will get back to you ASAP”

“No way, I don’t know how long that will take. I’m giving you 48 hours or else we are already in agreement of everything written there.”

“Okay. I’ll personally deliver it to your office in the next 48 hours. How about you give me a tour of your company this time Ms. Hwang?”

“Deal. I’ll see you then in my office Taeyeon.”

“How about we grab some lunch before you go?”

“Sorry I have a packed schedule today. I have to go. See you.”

“Bye. See you”

And Tiffany left in a flurry, the way she made her entrance earlier. But not before the two of them are seen walking beside each other. Now speculations are rife as to who the m
