The sudden onset of a headache reminded Tiffany Hwang that she’s been traveling for a while now. Granted it’s first class, she has been up in the air for 14 hours now. Even though she could easily fly using her father’s private jet, the thought of paparazzis sniffing in on her arrival, Hwang Enterprises’ sole heir arrival made her stick to her decision to fly commercial.

“Only an hour more” she grunted to herself. Packing her things and the life she made in New York was not difficult, but the reason behind it makes her headache more pronounced than before. She could still remember her phone conversation with her dad about it.

“Stephanie when are you coming home so you can take over the company?”
“Dad, we’ve been through this, I’m not ready to come home. I’ve been doing good here in New York, in fact I got even promoted recently.” Her dad sighed knowing how stubborn can her only daughter be. After his wife’s death when Tiffany was in middle school made him give in to his daughter’s requests and that includes studying abroad knowing this was Tiffany’s way of coping to her loss.

“You know, I’m not getting any younger and I could really do with some help in the company”
“Juhyun is there Dad. What’s with this sudden request of me coming home? Are you ill?
“Juhyun’s a great help God bless your cousin, but you’re my heir and its about time you learn how to run the company which I might add will belong to you in the future.”

Now Tiffany is getting suspicious. Although she can get away with almost everything when it comes to her father, his sudden phone call asking her to come home made it seem that there is something more than just her taking over Hwang Enterprises.

“You know I love you Dad, but you’re not telling everything, it’s almost midnight right there in Seoul, and you’re calling me in the middle of the night just to ask me to come home?l
“I can’t get anything past you can I?”
“No Dad and I appreciate it if you tell me now.”
“I was planning to tell you when you come home actually.”
“Dad.”
“Alright, remember my childhood friend Jonghyun?”
“Chairman Kim of KGC? What about him?”
“Well, we have been planning on a big merger with one of his companies and he wanted to, actually the both of us wanted to hand it to our children to run.”
“Okay...”
“And you’re my only child, naturally you will be the representative of Hwang Enterprises”
“Okay so that makes sense. But what’s with the sudden rush?”
“Well we want it to be kept under wraps from the rivals you know. Please Tiffany, humor Dad just this once okay?”
“Fine. You very well know I love you and I cannot say no you. Give me a month
