body
love in my arms, and the sun in my eyesbody
People call Moonbyul thin. They say her legs are like sticks, her arms like two gangly twigs. Her waist is small which makes her shoulders look broad. She’s not too tall, but she isn’t exactly short either. Moonbyul has monolids, her nose wrinkles and her eyes crinkle when she smiles.
She doesn’t exactly fit into any of the beauty standards, she doesn’t look like those models you see on TV or in magazines. Then again, models really are just walking clothes hangers, and Moonbyul is much more than a walking clothes hanger.
Moonbyul has small pink lips (which Yongsun think are a pleasure to kiss). Moonbyul has a sharp jaw and her eyes are dark and piercing, they draw Yongsun into their abyss: She sees the beginning and the end, she sees the sun rise and set.
When Moonbyul forgoes wearing a shirt to bed (because it gets extremely hot in the summer) and is lying on her stomach, Yongsun sees the ridges of Moonbyul’s back, she sees the dips and the curves of strong, hard-earned muscle. Yongsun’s fingertips travel down each and every one of Moonbyul’s vertebrae, and then she presses her lips to Moonbyul’s neck, whispering how much she loves her — all of her.
