The summer heat is oppressive. The air conditioner’s broken so they’ve left the windows wide open at night, that way the bedroom doesn’t get too warm. The blankets have pooled around their feet and ankles. A nice cool breeze brushes over their , tangled bodies.

Yongsun’s hair is a mess and has fallen over Moonbyul’s face. Moonbyul can feel the thin strands tickling her nose. She smiles, and tries to blow Yongsun’s hair out of her way. Yongsun stirs slightly, squeezing Moonbyul tightly.

It’s a warning. Last time Moonbyul did this, Yongsun rolled over and reached for a pillow and whacked Moonbyul. Moonbyul decides to not push her luck this time. Chuckling, she cuddles closer and Yongsun welcomes her with a kiss.

The night is long, the heat unrelenting. When they wake up, Yongsun’s hair is a knotted mess, Moonbyul’s face is still slightly tingling.
